  Thanks, jwleaks. I was thinking they were a summary of their findings. Not what I thought. It would really be nice if they (or someone) could summarize their findings in a nicely formatted brochure. I bet my brochure placement this month would be off the charts.

  first of all, i've left being a jw in june.

  since then my family have tried to convince me it's "the truth" and force me to go back even though it's my own decision.

  Welcome, Dan! Congrats to your new found freedom. Don't let their hateful words get to you. I think most of us have all experienced the same thing from our family. I have also been labeled disgusting, bitter, angry, crazy, and I am sure a host of other labels they come up with. Let their words just roll off your back. The world is full of great people. And now that you've left the Witnesses, you can find them!

  i wanted to see if anyone else had any experiences along these same lines.

  i met most of the ones that were current during the 2001-2003 years.

  I haven't received a response back, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew what documents are available to download for free through the Royal Commission website. I am only listing the documents pictured by jwleaks, plus a few others I think are significant. If you want to browse the entire list of documents available for download, here is the link.   Spreadsheet documenting every single pedophile that the Watchtower had in their files and kept secret. No names. Each one is labeled by perpetrator number and lists A LOT of information like the number of victims, the status of the perpetrator in the congregation, whether there was a confession, and if they were disfellowshipped.   I am thinking I might be able to send the Case Study PDF to a local printing place and have them print a nice hard copy. If they can legally print and bound it for me, I am thinking that would be quite more cost effective than having it mailed from Australia. If I have success, I will let you know.

  I am most interested in those summary brochures pictured. jwleaks, would you mind posting a close up photo of the top of those brochures? I would love to search for them. If those can be mass printed (legally), I think they would be perfect to send to politicians in our country as we try to get the mandatory reporting laws changed.

  That is great! I would love to have a copy of the case study. I found on their website where you can order hard copies. I went through the steps to order it, (with no payment needed; you just request it) and it said my order is "awaiting approval". I doubt I get approved, especially since I live in America, but hopefully, I can ask if I can pay for the printing and shipping.

  the new faithleaks web site began hosting document submissions aimed at whistleblowers of a religious bent.

  it must’ve caught the eye of some watchtower insider.. “faithleaks, like mormonleaks, is founded on the belief that increased transparency results in fewer untruths, less corruption, and less abuse in any organization.

  Many years ago I was an elder but was never involved in judicial committee duties. It sounds as if you were. My question to you: why wouldn't the committee want to interview her to see if his alibi, weak as it was, were true?

  My only experience personally with how judicial committees work is as an elder's kid. But since leaving, I have done a lot of reading, and in the elder's handbook, it says that if a woman is charged with something and a judicial committee is formed, that the husband is to be informed and involved. But if a man is charged with something and a judicial committee is formed, then the elders are supposed to keep it confidential from the wife and just "encourage" the husband to tell her. Perhaps they did talk to her about his alibi, but in all those records, there is no mention of it, and there is nothing in the elder handbook that says they have to.

  I find it interesting and alarming that the mother's part in all of this is mostly absent, aside from then man's claim that his wife told him to do it. Judicial procedures would prevent the mother from being a part of any of the investigation. What part did she play in allowing this to happen, allowing it to continue, or covering it up, in the process. Or was she mostly kept in the dark, except for what her daughters were willing to share with her. I don't know the answer, but the question weighs on my mind. The whole process of using their self created judicial system, that refuses to allow professionals, authorities or WOMEN to be a part of it is a crime in itself.

  The FIRST call they should be required to make should be to the authorities when abuse of ANY kind is reported.

  Didn't quite get the bit about growing up and paying your debts - does it mean the parents?I need to watch again. I was hoping it was going to say " but one day we will grow up and then you won't see us for dust!"( or something like that).

  I thought that was a little odd, too, and a bit unnecessary. I felt like the angry tone at the end really detracted from the message. It's quite interesting how many images there are of the kids being in trouble and being shamed once they spliced all the videos together. Quite sad, really.
