the sunday business post (ireland), sunday, july 22, 2018 - page 11. the jehovah’s witnesses have been urged to give the authorities potentially hundreds of documents related to child sex abuse in ireland over fears the organisation could be forced to delete them after a recent european court of justice ruling on the religion’s data-handling practices.. this month, the european court of justice ruled that the jehovah’s witnesses church was not exempt on any religious grounds from certain elements of the newly introduced gdpr data protection laws.. the jehovah's witnesses had argued that its practice of door-to-door preaching was covered by an exemption to the data protection law, but the court upheld an earlier decision by the finnish supreme court.. it now leaves the religion's irish and british headquarters - known at the watch tower - with a conundrum in relation to the potentially thousands of documents related to child abuse allegations in both countries, according to jason wynne, a former jehovah's witness who is now a campainger for awareness about instances of abuse within the religion.. wynne told the sunday business post that while the new law allows current and former jehovah's witnesses to request the deletion of files containing sensitive personal information, it could also "have a knock-on effect to their child abuse policies.".

SBF, Who's talking about Dutch? The topic is the French rev. NWT being released, evidently in electronic format. So what's to prevent an electronic only format being announced in Spanish? What would that have to do with money any more than the French rev. NWT being released?

Governing Body trying to control marital relationships

i say it's innapropriate because i think it's wrong to tell happy married couples how to love each other and much more wrong it is to tell them they should love their children less.. he said: "mothers, who should you love more your children or your husband?
" i think most mothers will quickly say you should love your children more.

Sounds like a typical stupid CO saying some typically stupid rogue thing. There is no shortage of that in the org! There was a fairly recent post here (can't find it now) relating how some CO who was the pioneer school instructor disagreed with the org on fallopian/ectopic abortions. when i lived way up north us it was more of a deer hunting group and so some guns were ok, when i moved to florida it was different.

New kingdom hall Washington State
by Are you serious inyesterday i drove passed a town a couple of hours from my home and saw this kh under construction.
this is the first new design kh i've seen in washington state even though i would think by now another one or two have been built.
maybe not with their financial situation being the way it is.

Thanks for your research and bringing together all those SBF posts. It must have taken you some time. Yes, the little vid was funny.
As for the OP here, that KH design was approved 3 or so years ago for use all over the USA for all new KHs. It is pretty abysmal, but it may indeed be looking forward to resale, as several posters here have said. It may also be to scare active R&F into submission during the consolidation period still going on. "Do what we say or you'll wind up meeting in one of the new KHs. Do you want that?"
