SBF, Who's talking about Dutch? The topic is the French rev. NWT being released, evidently in electronic format. So what's to prevent an electronic only format being announced in Spanish? What would that have to do with money any more than the French rev. NWT being released?

Yeah, the lack of the Spanish rev NWT is really strange. What's up with that? Aren't there plenty of Spanish translators? Maybe Morhp is "right"!

4 years ago during the circuit overseers visit he asked a rather innapropriate question from the platform.

i say it's innapropriate because i think it's wrong to tell happy married couples how to love each other and much more wrong it is to tell them they should love their children less.. he said: "mothers, who should you love more your children or your husband?

" i think most mothers will quickly say you should love your children more.

Sounds like a typical stupid CO saying some typically stupid rogue thing. There is no shortage of that in the org! There was a fairly recent post here (can't find it now) relating how some CO who was the pioneer school instructor disagreed with the org on fallopian/ectopic abortions. i was told shooting guns and collecting them was not something a jw should do.

when i lived way up north us it was more of a deer hunting group and so some guns were ok, when i moved to florida it was different.

most people in the hall were not hunters.

yesterday i drove passed a town a couple of hours from my home and saw this kh under construction.

this is the first new design kh i've seen in washington state even though i would think by now another one or two have been built.

maybe not with their financial situation being the way it is.

Thanks for your research and bringing together all those SBF posts. It must have taken you some time. Yes, the little vid was funny.

As for the OP here, that KH design was approved 3 or so years ago for use all over the USA for all new KHs. It is pretty abysmal, but it may indeed be looking forward to resale, as several posters here have said. It may also be to scare active R&F into submission during the consolidation period still going on. "Do what we say or you'll wind up meeting in one of the new KHs. Do you want that?"

I once heard a religious studies professor (who felt JWs were part of Christianity) at a large university put the difference this way:

"Mainstream Christians are Christ-oriented. JWs are Father-oriented."

Simple and to the point.

BTW he himself was Eastern Orthodox, and no, it wasn't David Bentley Hart.
