Isn't this already the procedure in places where the org is deeply underground, like China? Maybe the GB is taking its "success" there as Jehovah's blessing and his telling them to extend it to non-underground countries. The Swiss, Aussie, and Dutch legal responses to the org's in-house policies may also be at work here—if the whole idea is not just rumor and has some truth behind it.

BOE Update! (as of 2020-07-31)
by Atlantis inbody of elder letters, announcements, and so forth will be next to "none" unless more elders decide to contact us and help out.. atlantis has lost three elders in the past two years.
two elders were disfellowshipped, and one disassociated and walk away a month ago.. when this happens receiving confidential documents is severed.
the last announcement we received was 2020-07-23. i was not about to send out a childish letter on "mold" in the kingdom halls.. there are people out there out of work and concerned about what they will eat tomorrow, and the watchtower is concerned with mold!.

Today over at reddit a poster reported that a letter has gone out significantly increasing the amount of money each cong has to send in. They might be running out of property to sell now. Of course, they did not put that last bit in the letter.

She often did research and shared her findings with others here, even unsolicitedly. I sure appreciated that!Plenty of past contributors here have decided to move on in their lives, past being ex-JW, and have left the forum. We all know this. Perhaps it just took her longer to do so? by Anony Mous inas i was researching some stuff about this epstein guy and came across postings about jessica leigh collins.. her twitter has most of her story: https://twitter.com/midnitemj but it is actively being suppressed by twitter - a regular search on twitter doesn't get her account as a result and none of her posts have been seen by more than a few hundred people.
many media outlets have tagged her as "russian troll" while she doesn't seem anything like it.
it certainly is way too detailed and is going on for way too long to be a troll nor is her story being artificially trended or upvoted, fact is, the posts have virtually no upvotes or retweets even though people elsewhere claimed they tried.. what i can gather is that she came out about being trafficked by epstein but quickly found out that nobody is actually interested in her story.

Did they use to applaud after reinstatement after being Disfellowshipped, but then it stopped?
by ThomasCovenant ini don't remember disfellowshippings happening very often and announcements about being re instated but i think i remember that we used to clap hands if someone came back after being disfellowshipped.
but then i think clapping wasn't allowed.
am i correct in my recollections?.
