Please don't judge dear friends but I'll be pioneering next month...
by stillAwitness inwell, it's memorial season and mom has been giving me the "look" this past week ever since she has decided to pioneer for february and march.
anyways, the thing is i plan on buying a new car in the next couple months.

2. they admit that the reason the authors' names are omitted is primarily to protect the organization and the authors from liability.. all bold letters are original... i added the yellow highlight and red text.. branch organization manual: page 25-5.

by stillAwitness in3 sisters were announced as such at this past meeting (2 of which have a family member who was recently d'f but the third had been pioneering for as long as anyone can remember)

What were you disfellowshipped for?
by aquagirl injust curious,if anyone dosent mind sharing..myself,id been out in the real world for 11 years,married twice,etc etc,and the 'trio of guys in bad suits' came over one night and told me that i was being charged w/adultery and fornication..my then boyfriend,and i laughed so hard that we forgot to sic the dog on 'em...funny,cause one of the guys id lived with,a few years prior,an elders son,not baptized,but in good standing,never got even so much as a stern talking to..i remember one of the last meetings i went to as a teenager.the 'trio" came to my parents house and said that i wasnt to come to meetings braless anymore,that it was disturbing the brothers and making them have impure thoughts..and that by me being in a band,in the 'world',i was opening myself to satan...what a bunch of weirdos.especialy since one of my "fondest" memories is of being out in feield service,alone w/an elder,and him having his pants open in the car,and his penis sticking out the whole time.i was like 10,and wasnt sure exactly what the issue was,guess i was a bit naive,but he kept touching it and looking at me..this was a big cheese elder at the time too..very highly thought of and all..again,what a bunch of wierdos....

I'm sure that it was Holy Spirit that guided him because you needed to see his weiner.
I got disfellowshipped for sex. Got reinstated about two years later. Eventually drifted away convinced that it was better to die at armageddon then to continue going to meetings. Now that I've put all that behind me, I've never felt better.

Which do YOU do.....play by the Witnesses Rules....or by YOUR own Rules?
by gumby insome of us here remember threads about how some here have decided not to play by dub rules in the area of shunning.
for instance.....they say "since the borg is a bogus religion and since it's shunning policies are not biblically nor morally based in most cases, they fell they should freely speak to other jehovahs witnesses whenever they wish even though they know the witnesses are to shun them when approched or contacted by them.
they feel they do not need to play by dub standards when around a dub any longer and one reason is.....they do not want the dub to feel that you think they are right and you are wrong by playing the part of a shunned person.

Actually, there is all of about 2 people that I would even want to talk to that are still witnesses, and they will still talk to me when I see them.

Thus the visa-versa.
What is important is that one is comfortable with ones descision that one makes. If you want to believe the bible, fine, anymore I just think that it is Jewish mythology. If you want to kill someone, know that there will be consequences. I myself am personally comfortable with the Nietzsche overman(superman) idea, just be the best person that you can be. There is nothing that I will have to answer for after I die unless life was really all about how much I prayed, went to church and read the bible.
