I registered to vote
by NewYork44M inon saturday i had to get my driver's license.
the clerk asked if i wanted to register, and i took her up on the offer.
i have often thought about joining the ranks of voters but never felt strong enough about an issue to go through the process.

I registered to vote for the 2004 election. It's funny thinking back on how that would have been such an evil thing for me to do at one point and now it's no big deal.

How about posting some pictures of your tight pants.
The more you ride, the easier it will be. And like Ironclaw said, you need to prepare for a hill, shift down when you're still on the flat. And make sure your tires are pumped up, low tire pressure always makes you feel like you're riding in wet tar.

if you were still a good jw, would you be tired of waiting, and discouraged that not much of what the watchtower predicted happened yet?.
does the watchtower just expect every jw to smile and wait forever?

But then, after I left, I heard about the "new light" about the 1914 generation back around 6 or so years ago, I rolled my eyes at that one. If I hadn't already left. that might have sent me to the door.

'Knocking' Review from East Lansing Film Festival

an announcement was made after the screening that there was going to be a party held for this film at beggars banquet in e. lansing and that all in attendance was invited to come.

Most irritating adverts
by greendawn inwhat were some of the most irritating advertisements you came across on tv, radio, internet, newspapers, magazines etc .
i remember how margarine adverts called them good for the heart because they contained no cholesterol or saturated fats but they were loaded with trans fats that are indeed bad for the heart.
now good quality margarines dont have any but in the past they contained 20-40% trans fats.

I hate the ones with "cute" kids that are supposed to get the "awwwwwwwww" response. Like the cheerios one where the kid wakes up his parents at 6 in the morning with a bowl of cheerios so they can lower their cholestoral.
