this page was last modified on 31 may 2009 at 01:15. .
i am not sure if it called apostates part of the anti-christ before, but it appears they have made some changes on the page and it seems to be very strong and assertive language.. .

Your children are worthless. Get rid of them.
by easyreader1970 inlast night the co came to visit.
he gave a talk that centered around a christian's ability to function well within the organization.
there are many christians who are having problems in their personal lives and this can be traced to one thing.

Question about snakes
by callitquits76 inhi everyone, long time no post but i wanted your opinion on something please.. well a friend of mine has just got a corn snake.
its a baby but it will grow up to 6ft.
i never considered myself anti-snake because i know people do have phobias on them, but seeing it in action, including the way it eats, has really put me off - not only snakes, but also, the friendship.

Making someone watch snakes eat is not the best of introductions to snake keeping.
I have 4 myself and some are definitely more friendly than others.
Snakes are one of the most primitive animals on earth and while they aren't the most emotional of creatures, it is fun watching their behavior.

Are WE just as bad as the WT? If we show intolerance and banning/shunning?
by leavingwt inall communities have standards.. .

This board doesn't claim to be the only way to everlasting life.
This board doesn't say who you can or cannot associate with.
The WT claims that everyone can get along if they just apply bible principles, whereas in fact, that is a bunch of hogwash.

"Watchmen" the worst comic book movie ever - I walked out!
by Witness 007 init tried to be dramatic and different but you just don't know which direction this movie is taking.
i haven't walked out of a film ever, but i just couldn't stand it anymore....the first hour and a half went no-where!
they try to make complex interesting characters but fail completely...anyone else see it?.

The movie was great! As a comic-book movie it wasn't as good as The Dark Knight but few movies are that good.
It followed the book remarkably well, in fact, the ending was cleaned up to be better than the book.
As I was watching it I was wondering if someone who hadn't read the book would be lost. I asked people afterwards, some said yes, some said no.
My one criticism would be that the movie didn't show enough of how early comic-book superheroes were so "truth, justice and the american way" type people. When the book came out, the reading audience knew about this status-quo and Moore didn't really need to delve into that. Few books before Watchmen showed them as having different motives or downright crazy.
What got Alan Moore all jaded about his work being turned into movies was From Hell and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. He took the money from those and the studios went and bastardized them. He hated the thought of both V for Vendetta and the Watchmen being made into movies based on earlier experiences and his dealings with DC. He really should have no complaint since they both turned out so phemonenally well.

I had a beer.
I really don't like beer but it just happened to be in the fridge and I wanted it gone.
