I don't know if was said, but one of the reasons(and there are many more) I personally was set up to fail was because "the new system" is right around the corner.

I wasn't supposed to ever get out of grade school....or jr. high....or high school.

Nothing I would ever do would ever matter because the new system was almost here.

Was I lazy? Maybe. But when you tell a teenager that the only thing of any importance is knocking on doors.....well, life ain't all that appealing.

I hardly ever look for new music anymore. Tonight though I'll be looking up all the other bands listed above on youtube.

i want to write a rap song about the nu-lite provided by the governing body back in the late 70's i think it was.. i want to convey the historical significance and importance of changing the phrase, "back-call" to "return visit".. any ideas?.

this would surely bring glory to jehovah's earthly organization..

bought a little glass box today
its empty-it'll always stay that way
yet its for my most prized possession
since now all the baubles pale in comparison

here is my heart
here it is now its yours
she gave it to me
said she had little choice
but now she is gone
she had to walk out that door
but her heart is still mine
and i'm keeping it for all time

i hid the box behind some things on a shelf
it'd be too hard to look at all by itself
if i could forget its there i would
if I could forget her....i know i should

said she had little choice
but now she is gone
she'll never come back through that door

i know shes out there-i know she still loves me
but lifes peculiar-i wish we were meant to be
maybe it'll get better with the passage of time
i have to wonder what she did with mine

because last i checked, the ole boys in their oversized brooklyn bunker didn't want their members on the internet unless it was to view their own official websites.
