I tried a Ouija board when I was 10 with my little brother in our houses creepy basement. We did not really know what we were doing and mind you a Elders daughter was baby sitting us. Well she freaked out and started crying (she was at the top of the stairs peeking down) and called her father, anyways nothing happened and it got trashed that day. But 13 years later I have used a pendulum quite often and if I'm actually channeling or its just my subconcious doing it I dont know. Sometimes I use it alone sometimes I use a "board" (alpha numerical). Mind you because of my dub upbringing and all the negative reports or supposedly bad spirits I pray for protection before I channel, I have my doubts but from experience using a pendulum it has been quite errie and at time will start swinging from and stand still to almost level spin in a matter of seconds. Anyways Im skeptic but I keep an open mind.... Lucent

Ouija Board
by Inquisitor inhas anyone ever played with an ouija board?.
is the game as dangerous as has been suggested by the wts all this while?
wts seems confident that all inexplicable events associated with the game comes from a supernatural source, and not a psychological one.

I fire up the grill and get it really hot, than I coat my steak in fresh ground black pepper and a little garlic, than throw it on the grill for no more than 5 minutes, I like my steak moo'ing...tonight Im having bacon wrapped shrimp on the grill, caught them fresh out of the ocean 2 nights ago.

How were your presentations?
by Mysterious inwere you the kind that stayed up for hours the night before finding the perfect point and the perfect scripture...or were you the one that was hastily trying to through something together the morning of and panicking when you realized the circuit overseer was visiting.
and then there was me...i was lucky if i knew which magazines were "it" for that week, lucky if id read more than the first page, and developed a good deal of improve skill when that 25% "at home" rate popped up on my 1 door in 10. eeps.
im not sure if anyone realized just how seat of the pants my approach to field service actually was.

by Crumpet injust like the 3 or 4 or several word game fun threads here - just ask a question and hope its answered so that you are quickly matched with a long term partner on the jw board!
how easy is that?

WHAT DUB THINGS WILL YOU NEVER FORGET?
by Mary innow as much as no one wants to admit it, we all know that there are things we learned in the borg that we'll never forget even if we live to be a hundred.
what is something that you know you'll always remember (despite your best efforts to forget!
for me, it's matthew 24:14 and the names of the three hebrews thrown into the firey furnace (shadrach, meeee-shack and a-bed-we-go)
