I just tried photobucket too. The quality isn't too good for the video..'cause I used the video feature on my blackberry to copy it from it's home on facebook... and then emailed it to myself, and uploaded it to photobucket... so it's a video of a video... but the only way I could figure out to make it work.

i often wonder if you are here somewhere amongst the cool avatars and catchy screen names...it killed me 5 years ago when you ran away.....i felt as if i was shattered and would never be whole again.
and if i had stayed in the borg....that would still be the case....alone i was dying inside slowly....the borg was drowning me in duty, loyalty to the organization, isolation, spiritual hunger, thirst for understanding- i had to leave too, i just didn't do it quite as dramatically as you did.. i don't know why you still feel the need to remain "missing" after all these years.... i just want you to know that i was tired of hanging on to the hurt and pain over you...i let it go when i left the borg.

Autumn has always been my favorite season. We used to spend several weeks in Vermont on top of a mountain, a mile and a half from the nearest house. Ice cold spring water, the smell of wood burning in a wood stove... new mown grass.. the sound of wind rustling through crimson and golden leaves... apple pies baking in the oven... bacon sizzling in the morning... coffee brewing... soup simmering... reading, curled up next to the fire... painting the majesty, beauty and power of nature...sigh~

I went to one in Bolton, MA yesterday in the course of my business day, but can't find a website for it.... The leaves are not at their peak yet... though, which is unusual... Fall has definitely arrived though... windy, chilly.. sweater weather for sure.

I stopped at a roadside farm yesterday... freshly picked apples...the smell of cinnamon and apple pie... Pumpkins sitting atop bales of hay....Ahhhh New England in Autumn...

something burn linked to on the thread about gender equality got me to thinking.. the statement was made that it is mostly the woman who is in charge of the family budget, and she knows instinctively that you can't spend your way out of debt.. i know that, but this basic fact seems lost on some.. for example, i see my oldest daughter making financial blunder after financial blunder.. she has, in effect, told me to stay out of her business, yet it is i to whom she comes begging for help when her money goes south.. my maternal g'mother, who lived to the age of 104, had a favorite saying: "root, hog, or stay poor.

i've decided to let her stay poor or sink - whichever comes first.. syl.
I have had it both ways... when raising my kids, I could make a nickel scream! I don't have to do that any more... spending is much easier... sometimes too easy... it can get away from you sooooo fast...before you even realize it!!! If I used the principals I had to use years ago... I'd be a rich woman today.. but alas...
