  having a hard time with dateline eh?.

  i admire what you are trying to do in behalf of all those that have been sexually abused, but i believe you are going about it in the wrong way.. you have taken up a fight against jehovah himself and this is futile.

  the organization has some flaws, as is expected of any imperfect organization.

  You miss the whole point. Bill tried to get changes made from within. He is not fighting Jehovah. The organization is not Jehovah. Their claim to represent Jehovah is ludicrous. Bill is fighting evil, and yes, they are the very epitome of evil. Dateline will air, make no mistake. All the condemnation the watchtower has heaped on the Catholic Church will be laid at their door, because they are guilty of the same sins. They are hypocrites, and Jehovah does not defend the kind of actions that Bill is exposing. The pedophile problem has existed in the borg for decades, and has been tolerated by headquarters.
  Face it. Your leadership is corrupt. There is no way to rationalize this or justify it, at least not by any civilized human being.

  Watchtower Estate Planning

  the following is a letter that was sent to disfellowshipped children by way of an attorney.

  the attorney was secured by the elderly parents who are witnesses and recently signed over a sizable estate to watchtower at their death.

  do you think this is part of the legal department tactics to prevent the parents from making contact with the children and thus causing the estate to be contested?

  Yes, Marilyn from the why-1914 help-line got the exact same letter. Word for word. I just read this post to her. She's flabberghasted. Sounds like something that headquarters is orchestrating for elderly members with an estate to leave behind. Her mother is in her 90s. You can call Marilyn on the help-line or contact her through her daughter at the following email address.

  Nothing they do surprises me any more. It's a business run by lawyers, and they want to protect the money, no matter who they hurt.

  Funny Shunning....

  we were shopping yesterday when i noticed a jw woman from our old congregation in one of the aisles.

  normally i would go up and say hello, because i'm neither dfd or dad, but we were in a bit of a hurry, and i didn't want to spend much time in frivolous small talk.

  a little background on her: when we knew her she was a pioneer, and could very well still be one; her mother is a pioneer; her twin sister is a pioneer, etc.... you get the idea.

  I was in a store once, and a dub saw me, looked horrified, froze for a split second, turned and ran as fast as she could out of the store!
  Looked like she saw a ghost!

  Before I left the borg, I shunned a lovely couple at the grocery store. I just pretended I didn't see them, and headed for another part of the store. A few years later, as I was leaving the borg, they were the first xjws I contacted, and they helped me more than I can say. We had a good laugh about the whole grocery store thing. They had never even seen me. They are among my very best friends today.

  JW's Offer Me A Plea Bargain.

  i havent mentioned this before because, when it happened i was quite rattled.. there was a knock at the door a little while back, and who should be stood there but john dayment, the fella who used to be my dads assistant when he was po of weston super mare, back in the 60s.. he had with him another chappy, i think that his name was rod something, and they both launched into how good it would be to see me make my way back.

  apparently they were both elders, and this was my once a year visit.

  i was disinclined to be rude because my mum is still in contact with john hey, for all i know he might be my step-father one day!

  It's all I ever knew. I was raised in it, third generation. Even when my parents died, it felt safer to stick to the familiar. I knew there were problems, but it took me forever to face the facts, because I knew it would turn my life upside down if I found out it wasn't the truth. It did, but after all the dust settled, life is so much better since I took a stand.

  jessica and her daughter have moved their belongings to my house.

  the final plans are being made regarding our wedding party.
