When do jws worship? They go to 5 meetings a week...none of which is a worship service. They listen to talks and study. Neither of these things equal worship.

A good friend released her first cd & is on tour

I love my job...every day is different. My company is one of the top window manufacturers in the world. I call on Architects and put on "Lunch & Learn" seminars teaching them about glazing systems. It is one of the Forbes top 100 companies to work for.

I remember that article. I had a copy of it when 2 jws came to the door. I couldn't have timed it more perfectly. They started their presentation using that very watchtower.. and I said..."can I ask you a question?... who do you give glory to?" They said "God, of course". I said "Yes, and we shouldn't glorfy man, right?" They agreed. I asked if I could show them something in the magazine... She handed it over, and I read her the part where it says to give glory to the elders. One of the women was older...and she jumped right in and said...."oh that's not the way it is" I asked her why they would put it in print if it wasn't true...she had no answer...just the deer in the headlights look... The other woman was younger and she looked horrified. I said to her "I think you should look into that." She said she would.

No human organization can give you salvation. The organization just becomes the middle man. A relationship with God is through Christ. The watchtower tries to take control of your relationship with God... that is not what Christianity is about.

a few years ago i downloaded a document from the internet that seems to be parts of the branch office guidelines manual.. it contains: chapter 1, ps 1-77chapter 9, ps 1-18chapter 15, ps 1-52chapter 18, ps 1-83chapter 19, ps 1-21chapter 23, ps 1-16chapter 24, ps 1-18chapter 25, ps 1-31chapter 27, ps 1-7chapter 28, ps 1-3. i have no idea if this is what it seems to be.

Martin's Method of Giving a Testimony to JWs: Would this really work?

I don't think it would work...they couldn't stop him from praying...but they would just tune out until it was over. I agree that it is a rude approach, and the jw would just think he was nuts. The fact that he was knowingly using subliminal tactics is disturbing because in some cases that is what cults use...
