  I told my parents I no longer believe the Watchtower Society

  they insisted i come over for a debate, a chance for them to save me since according to my mother this was "a matter of life and death.

  " basically i spent the whole evening passively nodding my head and acknowledging what they said.

  i tried a few times to argue or debate but getting through to them was impossible.

  Ha ha im sorry but i cannot believe the gall of the wts, how dare they tell you what to wear, theyre so sly at it as well a little bit at a time, some suckers will listen to it as well, parents will talk themselves around it and make it feel its the right thing to do, because if its come from the society then its come from jehovah, HA WHATEVA, maybe they should build housin estates for them selves with gates all around and have signs every where remindin you of your christian duties and dignity, maybe thats a later plan eh IM SO GLAD IM NOT A JW NE MORE !!

  But i'd do wot your doin and just pretend your interested, then go and get sh**faced wiv some worldly mates and have fun!! wished i'd of done that at the time when i was bein indoctrinated.....;)

  JWs and Love towards their families

  this is something that just popped in my mind suddenly.. but i was thinking about over the years the many comments of jws about loved ones.

  for instance, one sister was speaking of her disgust with her children not accepting the "truth".

  she gladly tells anyone of what she told them; that if they don't accept it before armageddon that it's too bad.

  U kno wot, it makes me laff, firstly the jw's think they'l all be saved at armageddon, WRONG, the bible says not all will get thru, and how can they judge so easily of others (non jw's) or (ex jw's) family, children, grandchildren, sayin they feel sorry for them when the day comes, wot a load of crap, they treat there family members as if theyre dead, with no love or feelings for there off springs,why do they forget about all the years and memories of what you have together from bein a child, God would'nt want that, to treat other people and friends like they do, so why have any children or life at all, as for the fear of them not exceptin "the truth" simple it would save alot of pain, i think God loves everyone no matter what as long as you've got a good heart (as the bible says he can read) so just get on with our time here, now, not if and when it happens, and if you get thru, and if the ones you love get thru, it was torture for me, and the family around me, i rather be a hypacrit, not be a jw any more, than a hypocrit being one at all......True friends are with you thru no matter what, and nothin shud get in the way!!

  how many times have jw depictions of paradise shown cozy little gabled, shingled, lapsided, wood frame houses tastefully situated in front of mountain lakes without a hint of technology?

  i've lost count.

  i've always thought this picture betrays an unbelievable naivete about how technology works.
