  anybody else love this movie as much as i did??

  i think it says a lot about the type of person you are, or at least what kind of sense of humor you have, if you liked this movie or hated it.. so far, i've not met anyone who has been neutral on this movie - usually they either love it or hated it!

  Truthfully, it bored me. I was really annoyed too, because I really wanted to find it funny, the critics raved about it, said it was a really great indie film, but for me it was a complete letdown, and all in all, I felt very, meh, about it. The Jamiroquai dance sequence nearly made up for it all though.

  Australian music.

  i love australian rock.

  cruel sea, beasts of bourbon, nick cave, the church, dave graney, midnight oil, hell, even early inxs (don't change is one of the best songs ever written) and even some kiwi stuff, like split enz/crowded house.

  so, for the ozzies on this board, what is it about oz that gives the music it's distinct sound.

  Yep, John Butler Trio Rock, they've got a great folk thing going on. I'm real surprised they've made it to the UK:)

  They haven't really, I think they had a small slot at Glastonbury, but I've only heard of them because of my cousin... (Although saying that, they did get a mention in a guitar mag last month)

  Also forgot "brother" and Colin Hay from Men at Work's solo stuff is amazing.

  Colin Hay, yeah, totally, I saw that episode of Scrubs he guest starred in, and I've been looking for his material ever since.

  is it sad that i can't be bothered to go out on a saturday night?

  i'm shattered after work, i've been working at uni practically non stop through the week (with the exception of a couple of visits to the pub), and i worked 5-10 last night, and 9-6 today, i'm such a weak person.

  Yeah, it's not the cheapest of beers... I'll admit, I don't mind some of the cheap import stuff you can get. I guess I'm happy with anything with an alchohol percentage...

  Legolas, now I'm hungry and I want to get stoned. I hate being skint, I can't affor the important things in life... :( Mind you, I get the munchies really bad, so I guess it'd make my hunger situation even worse...
