  Moon Halo's?

  has anybody seen many of these before, i just saw one as i was coming in from the pub, i thought i was imagining at first, until a friend rang me and told me to take a look at the sky, he seemed convinced it was aliens.

  lol.

  just interested, have they been there lots of times before and i've just missed them, or are they rare?.

  Is it Sad....

  is it sad that i can't be bothered to go out on a saturday night?

  i'm shattered after work, i've been working at uni practically non stop through the week (with the exception of a couple of visits to the pub), and i worked 5-10 last night, and 9-6 today, i'm such a weak person.

  Arrogant JWs are more annoying than normal arrogant people!

  there's a guy, he's a regular at work, none of the staff like him, he's particularly arrogant, it just so happens that he's a dub, he thinks he's superior to everyone else, always has done, even though he's been removed from being an elder twice, is a known wife beater, one of his daugters is an unmarried mother, and his other son was reproved for mooning in a church yard recently.

  he telephones the shop, we're rushed off our feet, it's leading up to christmas, i end up taking the phone call, and he, somehow, instantly knows it's me and says "jordan, you should pick up the phone quicker, i'm driving, you can't be that busy!

  " that comment really pissed me off.

  Pint of Lager and a Packet of Crisps Please

  everyone knows you can't enjoy a good pint without a packet of crisps, but that's where the debate lies, what flavour do you choose, sure, ready salted is a good flavour you can't go wrong with, but really your tastebuds require something a little more, well, flavoured.

  so what's your favourite crisp flavour?

  personally i like tangy cheese dorito's they compliment a pint of fosters so well... .

  Public Speaking...

  i might need to talk tomorrow, i know it sounds silly but, for a good few years now, i've had major confidence issues when it comes to public speaking, anything else i'm fine with, and sometimes a bit of an extrovert, but put a microphone in front of me, and i'll stutter and fall apart before your eyes.

  well, a friend of mine was meant to give a pub quiz tomorrow, and i've reluctantly been pushed into doing it instead, it's not a big deal at all, it just means reading questions and answers into a microphone, but i know i'm going to balls it up.

  have any of you got any tips for getting over this stupid phobia i seem to have developed?

  Happiness is...

  so what is happiness to you?.

  in the larger sense, it's knowing that my family and friends are happy and safe.. in the more immeadiate sense, happiness is burning down a duel-carriage way at 100mph with heavy metal pounding through the speakers.

  call me immature, but driving fast and listening to some great music is a really liberating feeling...

  Motivation...

  i need motivation to get this work done.

  i don't need to do alot, just write a short proposal for a system, it's just so mind numbingly boring, i can't seem to get started.

  it's due in for friday, i know i've left it late, and me going out in a little while isn't going to help matters, but i was just wondering what you guys do when you can't seem to motivate yourself into getting something done...

  I'm a lucky sod...

  me and my friends at uni were having a discussion today, it began with my friend talking about a friend that was an ex jw, and he said she went so far off the rails its unreal, then he connected that to me and said "jordan, you're a jehovahs witness right" i replied reminding him i hadn't been for about three years, and he's never actually known me as one, so why he assumed i was still a dub was beyond me.

  anyway, he got onto the whole "you've never had christmas or b-days" thing, i said no, because xmas is a time for families, and it's a little hard to celebrate it when you're the only member of your family that would celebrate.

  well, long story short, they said the last day of term, before we all disappear for christmas break, they're going to throw me my own christmas party... i thought that was pretty cool, and it reminded me how damn lucky i am to have such good friends.
