I'll be honest, I'm loving our Indie Harcore/Emo scene right now. But on the subject of Australian Music, not rock but, since my cousin visited from down under over the summer, I've been obsessing over John Butler Trio, I absolutely love everything I've heard from them so far.

Australian music.
by avishai ini love australian rock.
cruel sea, beasts of bourbon, nick cave, the church, dave graney, midnight oil, hell, even early inxs (don't change is one of the best songs ever written) and even some kiwi stuff, like split enz/crowded house.
so, for the ozzies on this board, what is it about oz that gives the music it's distinct sound.

Pint of Lager and a Packet of Crisps Please
by Jordan ineveryone knows you can't enjoy a good pint without a packet of crisps, but that's where the debate lies, what flavour do you choose, sure, ready salted is a good flavour you can't go wrong with, but really your tastebuds require something a little more, well, flavoured.
so what's your favourite crisp flavour?
personally i like tangy cheese dorito's they compliment a pint of fosters so well... .

Pork Scratchings are indeed a fine snack. However my local pub stopped stocking, them! I know it's heresy for a pub to not sell them, but they reckon'd they didn't sell, or some rubbish like that...

England vs Argentina
by Sam the Man inanybody know why this match is being played in geneva?
you know, personal prejudice aside, i would like argentina to win this game.
it will give us a good kick up the backside in time for the world cup, and put extra pressure on the useless swede.

3-2!!! Oh, man, I only caught bits of the match on the radio, I was at work, but from what I heard it was a screamer! Looking forward to catching the highlights later...

What is the most money you have spent on one item?
by Crumpet intoday i bought the most expensive thing i have ever bought.
i bought a laptop computer for just under 500 - about $1000 i guess.
it was on 12 months interest free credit so technically its not mine.

£9,000 on my car.
Before you ask how an 18 year old got that kind of money, it was an inheritance, I had a rich worldly great-grandmother who left £10,000 to each of us great grandchildren...

Shaking with adrenalin, fear and anger
by Crumpet innever was a glass of wine so keenly anticipated as this one.. an hour ago i was sitting at the station waiting for a train and having my first cigarette of the last few days.
i don't usually smoke in public except in bars, but this was the end of a difficult and tiring week for me being my first week back at work and having hjad to do it all on crutches.. when all of a sudden some 60+ old nutter started yelling at me.
he said you don't know what you are doing to yourself- you will die horribly of cancer.

Crumpet, I love that adrenalin rush you get when you confront someone. I love getting chavs and pikeys in the shop, because it's so exhilirating telling them to "get the F%£K out before I call the police". I'm weird like that, but I really do enjoy it.

I don't like to limit myself to just the one kind of beer, usually however at some point in the evening I'd have a pint of Foster's, usually have a pint of Stella Artois at some point, sometimes, the odd pint of Strongbow Cider, and some Guiness Extra Cold. I've noticed myself enjoying the delights of a Turbo Shandy to get me started in the evening... It's Cider with a nice kick.

Jordan - you are spot on! Salt and Vinegar have always been my favourite flavour - I do quite like Monster Munch pickled onion flavour too. However you should avoid these flavours if you have a sore mouth!
Lol. Yeah, I've had experience with that before, talking of Monster Munch, I'm a big fan of their Roast Beef and Hot 'n' Spicy flavours, but my ex gf told me she hated the smell, and therefore refused to kiss me if I'd eaten a packet of them...

Hmmmm, this is a complete guess, but I think I'll go with Salt 'n' Vinegar... I bet I'm way of target right?
