By contrast, Hinduism demonstrated a far better appreciation of sizes and timescales (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalpa_(time_unit) ) if not of structure, and much earlier on at that.

Started to fade last July, went back to the Memorial this year but that was for friends only.
Wife left with me, and is totally out too. She wouldn't go to the Memorial even for friends.
Now our kids do normal things like Xmas and birthdays. We're all so much happier now.
