You should probably get some cream for that.
please be aware of everything that is happening around the world at this moment in time.
this goes to anyone, ex-communicated, removed, serving, believer and non.
at this point in my observations i have realized many religions/ideologies know there is some sort "end of time" or a transition into a new order of living in this earth.

why does everyone just turn a blind eye to the false teachings of the watchtower?
the bible warns us many times and in many ways not to follow false prophets - including the lake of fire.
fundamentally why do the followers of the watchtower just ignore the very bible they claim to live by?.
But your grand children won't...
Our grandkids won't worry about religion, anymore that the growing number of young people today do. In the West in particular, it is in the dustbin of history.
It doesn't matter who you are, human beings love rituals.
Yes they do. Going to the shopping mall, the restaurants, bowling, movies and so on. Without any need for the sky fairy nonsense that goes with some rituals.
after 1975, the vast majority remained as though nothing has happened.
but some left the organization.
however, there arose a third category who did not leave the organization, but brought a new view into their heart: jws are right in their core cause (gods kingdom as the solution to mankinds problems) but may or may not be right in their supplementary teachings, hence are not bothered about changes happening in this unimportant area..
What deluded nonsense:
“JWs are right in their core cause (God’s Kingdom as the solution to mankind’s problems) but may or may not be right in their supplementary teachings, hence are not bothered about changes happening in this unimportant area.”
You could re-word the above like this:
“The Church are right in their core cause (Christ as the solution to
mankind’s problems) but may or may not be right in their supplementary
teachings, hence are not bothered about changes happening in this unimportant
area.”
I've met church goers who admit that the Trinity may not be correct, BUT they said, they have faith in Christ to handle his church in the right way and in his time.
See any difference? None. Both groups see the problems but stay.
JW's refer to their faith as The Truth. Not the 'part-ly Truth', not 'The Truth on the core issues but maybe not the supplementary teaching'. It's The Truth. Nothing less.
JW's have demonstrably false teachings, such as:
They have been a 100% false prophet. Every single prediction and speculation they have ever made has failed. They repeatedly claim to be under God's Spirit yet their track record betrays them.
Looking at the above, and your point around "may not be right in their supplementary
teachings, hence are not bothered about changes happening in this unimportant
area.” have you ever stopped to think how this would make God look, if they were really his people.
Apparently God condemns the Church as the centre of the Babylon the Great. It's condemned for it's false teachings. Yes His organisation can have false teachings, shun people who highlight this (for the rest of their lives) and that's absolutely fine.
Have you never thought how God would look like a massive hypocrite? JW's like you think you're being clever but you're only looking at it from your perspective.
Not how it makes God look.
Look at this image below:
Children dying because of some mens interpretation of blood in the Bible demonstrates how dangerous this group are.
But I guess that's also one of those teachings which falls into your 'unimportant area'.
Right?
just thought i would update you guys since my 1st post last week.i haven't been to the meeting for about 2 weeks now, and maybe have like 1 or 2 hours of service combined within the past 2-3 months.
i obviously get the love bombing from relatives when they don't see you at the hall for a while.
" we missed you at the meeting last week.
They're obviously using the 537 day as for when the jews returned and then adding 70 years to get 607
The idea that the 70 years finishes in 537 can be shot down using one scripture in the Bible. Jer 25:12:
12 “‘But when 70 years have been fulfilled, I will call to account* the king of Babylon and that nation for their error,’ declares Jehovah, ‘and I will make the land of the Chal·de′ans a desolate wasteland for all time.
On JW. Org when you click on the * it says punish.
So the question for your parents is, when does this 70 years end? Presumably they will say 537. But then ask them how can you punish a King who hasn't been in place as a king for two years? He was overthrown in 539!
Even the Bible contradicts WT theology. I guess the Bible is wrong huh?
i have noticed that many lately have left the org or are in the process of leaving.
how many of you have left since 2015?.
this month will be my 21 years out of the org into the road of freedom.
Started waking up in 2010.
Woke up in 2013 and managed to walk away with my wife and 2 young children.
We're very lucky,
there is no end to their madness.
the co gave a talk on inspired error.
i have never heard of it.
1. The MEDIA: articles in the newspaper about Jw's are not truth, what they say on the internet about jw is not the truth. These are inspired expressions of error. Stay away from newspapers and news on the internet.
Evil! They are all eviiilll...
Unless, of course, it's a fine account by the RC PR brothers. Then this encouraging report in the media will demonstrate how Jehovah's reaching peoples hearts.
How happyifing to see SATAN'S media making such a sweet smelling aroma.
in short:- tight pants is no longer just a am3 hang up (or is that a hang up on the well hung?
)- brothers who have effeminate body language are flagged up- as are sisters with 'masculine' hair styles or dress- such dress is 'disturbing to the congregation'- the above must heed the (repeated) counsel from the elders...or they get stripped of the right to share on the ministry- however...this will not be revealed (announced) to the congregation.
wow.
That hardly seems like the smoking gun of an authoritarian regime and I think if you try and sell it to people as such they will come away with the impression that the WTS / JWs are good christian folk and we're a bunch of unreasonable, fault-finding nutters.
Firstly, this is an organization that already has a dress code. It bangs on about modesty, it expects people to wear suits to meetings just to worship God and so on.
This new rule is intrusive and vague. And given elders are often (read the postings from recipients on here) petty, love any chance to lord it up over others and like to make their own rules up, what do you think will happen?
What, precisely, is 'extremes' of this world?
What, precisely, is 'repeated counsel? One previous chat? Two?
Why the lack of announcement of not being allowed on the ministry? Hardly transparent is it?
Has anyone on this thread suggested this is some 'smoking gun of authoritarian regime'? I've not seen it if they have. But it is yet another example (of many) of them being such a regime.
To end on a positive note, personally I see this as a good move. To younger JW's it will help them see the Org as petty, controlling and restrictive and to any would be new recruits it will equally show them how controlling the Org is.
To misquote Princess Leia "The more you tighten your grip, the more will slip through your fingers".

wow.
And the punishment is....??? Did I miss something?
"Brother, you act like a sissy. From now on you get to sleep in on Saturdays."
Well quite!
But it does through up a bizarre idea of people who are JW's but who can't witness.

Wow. So any gay/lesbian/bi/transgender JW's or simply people wanting to dress differently had better watch out! And if they don't heed repeated counsel they get stripped off being able to go the ministry (so effectively no longer a JW) but the congregation isn't told this.
What?
This is a new one on me. I can't help but think that this is to avoid being accused of hate speech against LGBT people. With real problems in the world being addressed by secular authorities and the world getting better and better place to live in what does the WT do? This crap.

In tribute to AM3, I'm now humming the Boys and Girls Blur song, Girls who are boys, Who like boys to be girls, Who do boys like they're girls, Who do girls like they're boys...
you see ive started dating this girl and her family is of strong jehova belief.
now i am not i do see certain things in there studie that is true in my opinion but ive never really been a religion type of person.
i think i want to marry her but i am not a jehovas witness and am not looking to be anytime at all she says that is ok and we can still get married but i dont know how its possible or where we would even do it please i need advice
she says her church would excommunicate her or something like that and she says she does not care she loves me but im afraid of the fact how wiill we get married
You're right. The pressure will pile up when you get married.
Ask her to live you you before marriage. If she will live with you then that might be a good sign, you can keep reminding her how you won't become a JW until hopefully she stops.
But if she won't live with you, then she is committed JW. She will pressure you once you are married.
