Can't you read the Bible?
It explicitly states they are in the Temple. The divine habitation. It's heaven!
Scroll down the WT's own Kingdom Interlinear: Revelation 7 Kingdom Interlinear
notice the 144000 can be counted and they all come from israel.. 9 after this i saw, and look!
a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues,*+ standing before the throne and before the lamb, dressed in white robes;+ and there were palm branches in their hands.+ .
this great crowd, no man was able to number, and they come from every nation!

Of course, Jehovah's Witnesses have always recognized that the term "great crowd" is used uniquely at Revelation 7:9 in that there that particular "great crowd" describes the group of humans who survive the "great tribulation" to live forever on earth.
Wrong.
The Great Crowd are in heaven. At least, according to the Bible...
hi orphancrow.
thought you might be interested in the following, brief, court case summary.
high court family division - 18 november 2016an nhs foundation hospital v mr and mrs t. http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/ewhc/fam/2016/2980.html.
They are understandably unable to consent to what is being proposed but they do not oppose it and leave the decision to the Court.
What? That's bizzare.
If doing what is right by God's standards was really in T's best interests then not only would they be unable to consent but they would also oppose it.
It's great T will get what he needs - but the above highlights the wackiness of JW logic.
We do not consent!
But we shall not oppose either...
This is what God wants us to do. Oh yes.
i proably shouldnt be on here but i feel like saying this.
i have been for the last couple weeks been studying religion.
i've learned the only ones who today do what the bible says to is jw.
Then they would be 105 today...how many 105 years old do you know?Wizzstick I said if they were 3 in 1914...

the light in this scripture means information.
Really? How do you know that?
Apart from someone telling you that's what it means?
What evidence do you have?

Can't you remember events from 3-4 years old? If thier were some that age in 1914 they would remember it and be 103 today. Google the oldest people living today and you will many older than that. And more that don't have thier birth date on the internet for all to see.
No! It seems basic maths is beyond you! If you were born in 1914 you'd be 102 now. And as your memories start to form when your 3-4 years old you won't remember from when you are 2.
And remember what? The doctrine that JW's taught said that generation would comprehend what was happenning. How could a 2 year old comprehend?
You really have no idea what they taught - do you?
Plus you're missing the key point.
A generation doesn't last a 102 years! It lasts about 30 years. It's the gap between when someone is born and when they have children themsleves.
It was always, even decades ago, a nonsense interpretation of scripture.
And one that contradicts what the Bible says.

I don't know what the two witness rule is or means.
If a JW's child is sexually abused by a JW adult, the Elders won't investigate unless there is a second witness. Which of course doesn't generally happen with child abuse cases.
JW-land is a haven for peadophiles.

16 “No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a vessel or puts it underneath a bed, but he puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in may see the light.+ 17 For there is nothing hidden that will not become manifest, nor anything carefully concealed that will never become known and not come out in the open.+ 18 Therefore, pay attention to how you listen, for whoever has will be given more,+ but whoever does not have, even what he imagines he has will be taken away from him.”
What has this to do with the revealing of truth?

Wittstick Why don't you go ask a witness?
I used to be a Witness - so I know!
I have asked and they still say some born from 1914 will cross over.
Then they don't know what they are talking about.
Thier is still a lot living from then.
No there isn't! To have been alive and seen the events of 1914 you need be getting on for 110+.
How many 110 year olds do you know?

Let's not cherry pick random verses from the Bible eh? Let's see what the rest says:
24 “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master.+ 25 It is enough for the disciple to become as his teacher, and the slave as his master.+ If people have called the master of the house Be·elʹze·bub,*+ how much more those of his household? 26 So do not fear them, for there is nothing covered over that will not become uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known.
So what does that have to do with The Bible saying the truth will get brighter and brighter and more will be revealed?
Nowhere does Paul write to Christians on something, then write back with an update to it, then write back with a further change, then write back with more alterations.
He wouldn't because he wouldn't be taken seriously,
So why take the GB seriously?
