  the producers saw a baltimore sun article me and my friends were in nd they want us to film a promo for the sequel to 'that 70's show' which is called 'that 80's show' .

  we are filming the promo next wedesday, ill letcha guys know the details as i get em!.

  Finding Jobs? How 'bout Spouses?

  if we can find (or help find) people jobs, can we play match-maker, too?

  i think being raised as a 'witness' puts me in a unique 'class' (aka 'co-dependent ha ha).

  now that i'm 41 (divorced, white, professional, female [mom]) i have discovered many things about why i have become the person i am.

  WhatNow, it may be that guys who fit your description aren't keen on broadcasting developments in their love life on a public board like this.

  Yeah, I know, I know... in light of the usual topic of conversation, that seems a bit ludicrous. But still... someone might be more inclined to email you about it than to post on a public forum. Of course, for that to happen, your email has to be unlocked.

  my handle: mindchild comes from computer scientist and futurist dr. hans moravec: who wrote the book, the future of robot and human intelligence which is a book about when we will be able to construct machines capable of human intelligence and raises the possibility of uploading ourselves (every thought we ever had) into an android body much superior to the human ones we have now.

  i entertain the hope that not only will i live long enough to see this happen, i will transfer myself (the complete essence of what is me) into a body of my own choosing and become immortal if i so choose.

  No, and I wish she wouldn't either. It's too distracting. Monosyllabic exclamations like, "Rrrrr", "Oh, god", "hunh" (spoken with a shudder) and "Ooooooooooh" are welcome. But stuff like, "Oh, yes, baby, yes! Oh, slam it home, lover!" -- please. Save the sentences for afterward.

  Good news about my dad !

  first off, many, many thanks for all the help & support over the last week or so.

  it has been a tremendous help.

  I'm glad to hear this good news, Simon.

  My grandfather was an active man, like you describe your dad. At 75 years old he was still going swimming with us grandchildren. He had a wood shop and taught us how to use hand tools and power tools to build things. I believe it was his interest and involvement in so many projects that kept him healthy for so long (he died at 85 of bone cancer).

  Hope your dad will find ways to watch his heart rate and still keep his love of hands-on activity.

  is it just me, or is "everyone" on this board bitter?.

  i do know alot of happy jws and, i could not see them being anything else but jws.... .
