  its been almost two years since my husband passed away.

  i never really though about going out with anyone romantically until just recently.

  And with that said, let me just add:

  did not offer me drugs, did not suggest a sexual orgy and did not invite me to partake in satanic rituals.

  Ah, but Dutchie, some will, some will. Be prepared in advance. Life in the real world demands use of those "perceptive powers trained to distinguish right and wrong" that the society worked so hard to intercept, deaden and replace with its own directives. It doesn't mean they were right about the world, it just means there are, yes, people in it who do those things.

  Oh God, I Hate That Tune.

  last week, i was gurgling merrily at an episode of the simpsons.

  it was the one that is a parody of the "thelma and louise" film where marge and her chum are being pursued by homer and chief wiggum.. marge's chum is trying to impress her with her cool music, but when she turns on the car radio, it begins to play one of her less cool tunes, something that i have never heard before called "sunshine and lollipops".

  this repeated itself several times in different vehicles, whenever anyone turned on the radio, sunshine and lollipops came blaring out.

  I've found that I can usually stop the endless replay of hated songs by popping a Pantera CD into the player.
