  well everyone, i waited to post this because last time i posted about falling for someone it ended quickly on the other persons end and i fell apart.

  i took a few months off, just being myself, but the last month i have been dating this wonderful girl.

  she is amazing to me!

  JWs blame everything on demons...

  i cannot believe how credulous many jws are regarding the religions near obsession with supernatural beings.

  apparently young kids misbehaving is a result of demons.

  what irritates me the most is that this woman was more concerned with an alleged person with a "dangerous mind" placing the tract she left back on the car, than the fact that she left two children alone in a parked car.

  He also did a lot of ranting and raving and threatened he would call the police if I ever put anything like that on his door again.

  Now, what would be cool would be to be having a really, really bad day and have some guy come get in my face like that, and me ask him to back off and him not do it, and so I just beat the mortal shit out of him for a couple of minutes and leave him lying in a quietly moaning heap on the ground.

  with many children waiting expectedly for the new harry potter film the society have issued a pre-emptive strike.. i feel so sorry for the poor jw kids who won't now be able to go and see the film.. from watchtower, october 15th 2002, page 11..

  dmouse, most scanners have a "preview" mode that lets you select the amount of the scanner area that you want to capture. You can resize the "capture" box to exclude all the space around the article.

  Is this really news? When I was in, the vast majority of witnesses would have known without having to ask that Harry Potter and LOTR were on the taboo list.

  Does anybody remember a "special talk" in the seventies, when Star Wars was all the rage, that wasn't really a talk at all, but just the playing of a recording, where the theme was "helpful beings who are not from earth" or something like that, and they kept playing the Star Wars theme in the background all through the talk? I remember attending this in Houston at the Colliseum. Turned out the "helpful beings" were angels.

  the back cover of the august 15 watchtower offers another example of mind control, reinforcing the concept that there are no honest people except for jehovah's witnesses, and that there is no crime within the organization ("if all people were jehovah's witnesses, who would commit crimes?"):.

  The most interesting quote to me is Nana's statement, "If I were not, I would not have returned your money." It gives a view of Nana's inner makeup. There are many, many people who behave honestly in their everyday dealings without being Jehovah's Witnesses.

  Nana's comment casts her as somewhat lower, morally, than those "worldly" folks who just live honestly because it feels right to them.
