  many of you have asked me why i am in this place.

  you think i am being disobedient to the faithful and discreet slave or being hypocritical when i frequent this site.

  jehovah's witnesses proclaim the good news of the kingdom under the power of god's holy spirit.

  jesus commanded his followers to preach in the most distant parts of the earth and promised them that the spirit of god would guide them in this life-saving work (acts 1:8).. without the spirit of god, one cannot continue preaching about jesus and god's kingdom (matthew 24:14).

  one surely will not have god's spirit if one preaches a negative message (against jehovah's servants) from door to door.

  is it just me, or is alchohol consumption at parties and vacations virtually an unwrittten rule of jw-culture?.

  when i was in, i did not drink, and i still don't.

  i often felt almost ostracized for this by my jw associates.

  i have decided to spend less time on this board because of its explicit content.

  i could take the time to wipe the floor with alanf who knows next to nothing about the papacy.

  but we have decided to spare poor alan this time.

  JWs at my door....return visit tomorrow

  i just had two nice jw women knock on my door...i invited them in and listened to their brief presentation and accepted the watchtower and awake.

  they couldn't stay(had a bible study they had to go on)so they said they will be back tomorrow...i am playing the naive daughter of jw parents of whom i have had debates with in regards to jw doctrines...that way i don't seem to be totally oblivious to their teachings, yet not an "evil apostate"!.

  i was taken off guard, so i am glad they are coming back....any suggestions on how to approach these two women without blowing my cover?

  at one time, this board seemed to be fair.

  but i no longer think that it is, to jws, at least.

  ex-jws here can cuss, insult, say fu to everybody they don't like, and call jws pedophiles.
