Wot about this then....
My sis's best friend both still dubs but not if ya know what I mean, came home from university, she is a very tall girl 6ft and every skirt is short on her legs. Well her dad is applying to be reinstated again... and because she went to the first meeting in a bout a year in a trouser suit (as she had had counsel about wearing short skirts) her dad was not allowed to be reinstated as if he was really sorry about his course of action he would make his 22 year old daughter wear a skirt!!!!!!!!!
Hello???????? Whose the judge????

Here goes......
Young Sis X sat there in the small room with no windows, there was no longer any air in the room. Opposite her sat 3 men, all with suits on, all looked like peadophiles with their macs hanging up on the coat hooks. One of the men opened his mouth to speak and all Sis X could smell was his decaying breath. "Now Sis X what exactly did you do on the night in question????".....

light or dark
by bigfloppydog ini would like to ask a question.
it is about "pessimism," verses "optimism.
" which are you and if one is pessimistic, how do you help change that?
-
Tish
Oh no.... there isn't many replies to your question!! But on the other hand wow, look at all these posts you have had on your subject.
Seriously, though as part of the Borg we were drones, going round making people misarable, and we were only happy when we moaned about world conditions.

Fear of the New World
by WildTurkey ini always had a fear as an active jw, that i would not like life in the new world that i would not like to be perfect.
to never make a mistake, that would mean you would never get to kiss and make up.
i would never get to watch a real football game, and porn would be completely out of the question.

Well WildTurkey, there would always be a need for weaving Wicker Fruit Baskets to keep your sinful little mind busy!

Jw.com has it helped you?
by haujobbz in.
since i have been posting on this site i found a lot of posts interesting and vice versa, but i have also noticed that cetain ones on here arent helping themselves by continually looking at faults in their former beliefs,i find that this cant help you as a victim, im not saying i am not guilty of doing this i did do it at first but then realised it wasnt helping me overcome the trauma of my former beliefs, surely by trying to focus on the future and on how you can improve your state of mind maybe by self help books, counselling, and maybe speaking to ones on here who can possibly help you get through what they have been through, i mean surely you want to break free from the chains you used to be in.. dont get me wrong im not being harsh but only trying to help others,i mean jw.com is an open discussion forum to a degree,i also find it enjoyable on here, sometimes its not enjoyable because certain individuals are quite negative about views they dont agree on and i do expect that.. so has jw.com helped you or hasnt it.. are you addicted to this site and cant live without it.. also i do tend to take my previous beliefs lightly and have a joke about the things that were taught and went on,i try not to take it to serious at least im free from it and have my own mind that makes me so happy.

I personally have found it a great help to realise that you are not alone, and that people have exactly the same experiences as myself.
It can come across that some are obsessed with our old personal beliefs but lets face it, we were obsessed before! Also we are all on different parts of our journey to full realisation of what we had been involved in.
I would like to say a big thank you to all those I have talked to in the chat room esp Vivamus and all those who have posted me direct.
You have got to remember that I know that I personally was devastated when I was chucked out as I thought I was dead as far as God would see. But others including Da_Luvvin_Bravva and others have helped me to see that he still luvs us all.

Besides all of the above, us sister's used to like to bitch about the decorating in other's homes then fight for the right to own the luvly country homes, of course I won Buckingham Palace as it's closer to the shops!
