  What Does Being Spiritual Mean To You?

  right now, to me being spiritual is all about being led by your inner spirit and includes .

  1. being in tune with the goodness within and treating people how you would like to be treated.

  2. being in tune with nature and appreciating the beauty and complexity of the universe.

  The core of everyone's spirituality should be about the same. It is the outer shell and manifestations that would be different.
  
  Even people who say they don't believe in a "higher power" actually do. Can anyone conquer Nature or the Universe? No. At a minimum, you are bowing down to the power of nature (hurricanes, monsoons, tornados, et al) and the Universe (asteroids, meteors, radiation of various types, etc.)

  Do you know who will shun you?

  i went to a festival on the week-end and i saw a few jw's there.

  some saw me and said hello, while others looked away when they saw me.. sometimes, i have only a fraction of a second to decide how i'll react.

  either i say hello first, or wait for them to say hello, knowing that they might shun me and won't even bother saying hello in return, like one did this week end.. i'm pretty good at knowing who will shun me now.....

  But back to your logic:
  
  The last few lines imply that we had some right to be born perfect, and were therefore cheated -- victims of injustice.
  That would be nice if it were the case, but it is not.
  
  We don't have a right to anything.

  well, this is just going to be about some misunderstandings, i guess..

  why is it that most "americans" or people in the u.s. consider "hispanics/latinos" and spaniards to be the same?

  spaniards are caucasian.

  True, it is harder for some than others.
  
  But do it!
  
  There is a lot of racism in the world, but most places have free libraries. And now that the Internet is popular, it is another tool to use. So that actually also makes the point for learning in general. Utilize your local communities' literacy program and public library, and go!!!

  You aren't paying for Eve's sin.
  
  You are paying for your own sin.
  
  Eve was perfect, and choose to willfully sin and seek to break away. She paid.
  Adam was whipped, and didn't get the situation in check. He paid.
  
  We are their imperfect progeny, prone to sin and its consequences. We had no perfect parents to choose from. It was either out of Eve's womb, or remain unborn! haha.

  You wonder why these things weren't exorcised out of this world a long time ago. Racism is very poisonous.
  
  Imus, why, oh, why? You aren't Hitler, but you still are part of the problem!
