Do you save files to CD and then forget what is on the CDs?
by Lady Lee ini have a shelf full of cds that had to be searched individually every time i needed something.. well i have the program for you.. visual cd.
this nifty little freeware program will read all the file titles on a cd, your hard drive or just 1 folder and creates an index.
you can then save the index.

This old JW movie buff had a similar system, now that I remember. He has an enormous movie collection, and he paid his daughter to catalog it. The system was numbered/lettered blank VHSs, (hell, even has some on BetaMax!), and a binder with the info.
Same idea, but different technology. -

I am not saying we aren't more complicated than dogs. But the genetic laws covering these things for both humans and dogs are the same.

In the same way that we get dog breeds in a few generations, the genetic potential is there to get all kinds of things happening. Nothing more complicated than junior high and high school Mendel.
We got Jack Russell Terriers quicker than 12,000 years. -

The Service Overseer nearly cried from the podium.
by 5go inhe was giving the part about giving your riches to jehovah the watchtower.
you could tell there was a conflict going on in his head, while he was giving it.
you know he probaly has an idea that "jehovah provides things, so don't worry about it" .

Work on him. He is realizing how silly it is.
You mention money every so often, and leave it alone. By constantly harping on it, you are NOT trusting in Jah. Plain and simple. You become no different than the televangelists.
This brother is seeing it, now. -

Penny pinching hints and tips
by Junction-Guy inok, the lemonade thread has prompted me to ask does anyone else have any clever and legal ways to pinch pennies, like the guy did with the lemonade?.
.
any other things you have seen?

So, as you pick up new skills, you save money, and are better equipped for life.
(If you don't have any mechanical talent, then I guess you must pay that "tax.") -

I used to be a spendthrift, but gradually learned frugality.
My friend hinted at this, but I put it into this aphorism:
"It is a luxury to pay someone to do something you know how to do."
If you don't have the time, and can't make the time (honestly), then you have to pay the price. But it all gets back to how you are using your limited resources. People who say they don't have any time for this or that usually have some fat in their schedule, just like many have fat in their budgets. -

Miserly behavior will not make a business prosper.
Sad.
