I would be happy to help you start on your spiritual path.
If you take the time to look at some of the expressions of spirituality that predate Judaism and Christianity, you may find the truth you seek.
Don't rule out anything because of some previous prejudice against it. Open yourself to find the truth. -

Does a person's true personality come out when they're drunk?
by lfcviking ini've heard this been said before that when you have had loads to drink and when your inhibitions are temporarily removed then the real you is exposed.
i.e:.
some people when they've got a skinfull they might start talking about money & bragg about personal financial achievements and how much more money they're going to earn.. some people after a few beers suddenly think they're rocky balboa and think they can take the world on.. others after sinking some g & t's might turn into a crazed sexual tyrannosaurus!!.

There has been DECADES of research done on this, so we don't really have to rely on personal experiences for the facts.
Alcohol causes several things to happen in a human body when it is metabolized, one of which can be blackouts.
To the poster who said they don't believe that "excuse," they are right: it's not an excuse, it is scientific _fact_. Some people have them, and some people don't. -

Galaga - still in love, better than average
Defender - loved it, but I wasn't good.
Asteroids - liked it quite a bit
Space Invaders, et al - liked them but not as much as my big three
MAME is an excellent emulation system with THOUSANDS of these games.
There are other emulators, but that is one I remember my buddy using for arcade, NES, Sony Playstation, Sega, etc. -

If you ban guns, you make it WORSE.
The military, and their FRIENDS will still have guns. Safe assumption? Of course. There will never be a law to castrate the military, and for the ENTIRE history of this country, the leaders and their friends have circumvented any bans on substances or items. So only die-hard "patriots" and their Halliburton, BlackWater USA, etc. friends will have what they want for protection.
Hardcore criminals who want guns will still get them, because the standard reaction to banning ANYTHING is that the black market is either created, or in this case, enlarges. There has never been anything banned in history that this did not occur.
And that is besides the point that there are many ways to harm or kill someone that don't even involve the use of a firearm. That is why it is kind of a joke when they don't let guns or knives in teh courtroom, but a person who spends about 10 minutes max learning a martial arts move could choke out a judge or a baliff.
The CAPS are for emphasis, not yelling. I didn't feel like switching to Internet Exploder for this. -

Lanell Gibbs was there the day of the doughnut heist.
“That was a first,” Gibbs, 68, said.
She has worked for 11 years as a cashier at Country Mart, a regional supermarket chain. Next to her register, she keeps a clipping from the local newspaper about the doughnut man’s case. He was indicted just last month, although the theft took place in December. She likes to show the article to customers as she recounts the story.
It was about 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6. The store was in a lull. Gibbs, who could see the doughnut case from her station, said she saw Masters slip the doughnut into the pocket of his hooded sweatshirt.
She turned to a co-worker and said, “I saw him take a doughnut. Let’s see if he pays for it.”
They watched Masters as he strolled past the seven green checkout lanes and out a side door between the customer service desk and the pharmacy, passing under a giant “Country Mart Thanks You” sign.
Gibbs’ co-worker followed Masters into the parking lot. The co-worker, a 54-year-old woman, demanded that Masters come inside, according to the police report. He offered to give the doughnut back. She declined and grabbed his arm.
That is when Masters allegedly delivered “a backhanded punch to the chest” and took off running, police said.
“That made her mad,” Gibbs recalled.
The woman, who was uninjured, jumped in her car and called police as she chased Masters. He was arrested minutes later.
