Get a used Gibson or Martin guitar.
They have been around for years.
There are many guitar makes out there, but, as you have already experienced, there is a wide range in playability.

DID NOAH USE THE GREAT BEAR STAR TO NAVIGATE?
by badboy init is believed that antienct man may have known about the great bear constellion as far back as 20,000 years ago.. therefore did noah use the constellion to navigate his ark?.
-
MadTiger
Yeah, really.
Further, where the hell would he have been navigating to? That "other place covered in water?" hahaha!
There are many things that matter. This isn't one of them. -

Did you ever???
by Billzfan23 inthis is going to sound like a strange question - but throughout my years in the organization, i would hear reports of those coming out of the world into the truth who had problems with demons.
i mean people who would swear that satan or his demons literally caused supernatural occurrences that they were witnesses of.
does anyone have any real, honest stories of demon influence or encounter?
-
MadTiger
Thanks for the info.
I have had both types of experiences.
Saw a demon-possessed lady while in field service working with my mother (What? Are you calling my mother a !@#$ing liar??!!!).
I also have had two episodes of that "sleep paralysis," I guess.
So, while I do believe in wicked spirits, I don't believe they directly manifest themselves like that very often. -

Similarities between The Da Vinci Code and the Watchtower Society
by truthseeker inthe da vinci code is a great movie, but i couldn't help but see some similarities between the holy grail and the watchtower society.. for those of you who know nothing about this movie, the holy grail is not a chalice but a woman, mary magdalene, who supposedly was jesus' wife.. as the story goes, this secret had to be hidden by the catholic church - for if it had been proven that jesus was married, the source of papal authority would have disappeared.
descendants of jesus living today would have had their dna matched with that of mary magdalene.. this is all fiction, but the similarity with the watchtower is this:.
1914 is the watchtower's most important date.

PDFs are great space savers and tree savers.
But if anyone wants various books from the 90s when I was active, I have some.
Example: Pioneer book, etc. (notes, highlighted, etc., but complete)
I would only require PayPal for the shipping charges. PM for requests. -

What can you do with a heroin addict?
by katiekitten inor more to the point, what can you do with your cousin who is in love with a heroin addict, lives with him, has a child to him, is regularly beaten by him to the point that she went into a womens refuge last year, and supports him with all her income because she is the breadwinner.. sigh.. i just got in touch with my cousins again after several years, and i find out my beautiful cousin has been brutalised by this fuckwit for years.
but until she is ready to see hes ruining her life nobody can do anything to help her.. the whole family has given up on saying anything because she always goes back to him.
she loves him.

Serious self-esteem issues there. Does she have any abuse in her past? The past, unresolved, can be disastrous for healthy future relationships.

The ones left in the KH really are scared of Armageddon, I think. Why else would they put up with all the crap that goes on in the KH.
Very true. Or at least, in his case, it is the majority of the issue. "You know why I want to get reinstated! Don't even go there!" -

Where does god reside?
by Tyrone van leyen ini recently heard that einstein predicted in 1926 that there is a dark force pushing the universe outwards.
he put this theory on the shelf figuring he was wrong because at the time a man named hubble came up with the big bang theory.
now scientists have peered back into the universe almost 3 billion years and observed the explosion of a supernova.

What's the most meetings you went to in a row, without missing any?
by JH inlets put it at 3 meetings a week.. my record is about 12 meetings in a row without missing.. normally, i'd miss 1 meeting per 2 weeks, in my best days..
-
MadTiger
I am not one to miss anything, and was the most regular in attendance of ANYONE at my congregation.
I may have missed one or two regularly-scheduled meetings from Fall 1990 - Spring 1999. If you add in
rescheduled meetings due to the circuit overseer, that number may be up to seven or eight.
In the last 7 and a half years, I went once in the fall of 2001. DONE.
