Damned if they do, Damned if they don't
by FusionTheism ini see an attitude among some people here which is not very helpful.
i can understand it, but still, it's not constructive or helpful.. if you condemn the society for not changing, but then you also condemn them when they do change in a positive way, what incentive or motive does that provide for the people at the society to ever want to change for the better?.
also, what does that attitude look like to current witnesses who are having doubts?.

Jesus was a carpenter. Paul was a tent maker. Peter was a fisherman. Luke was a physician. What work do the GB do to sustain themselves? I know, they go on broadcasts asking for your hard earned money and for your kid's ice cream money. SMH
The org is judging and condemning everything and everyone outside itself, so yea, the hammer will come down pretty hard on them. Is that really so odd?
· each harmful unrealistic doomsday doctrine
· rob followers of their time and money
· lead to death refusing blood transfusions
· are against higher education and encourage ignorance through restricted research
1 The Society's biggest problem is its lack of genuine humility - the very arrogant, grandiose claims it makes about itself without tangible supporting evidence and despite a litany of evidence
I think the site is very tolerant to stupidity and ignorance.
Unlike the Catholics, they have never come out and formally apologized for the falsehoods and wrongdoings of those who went before them or for the ones they taught or committed themselves.

Did judge Rutherford piss off Hitler
by greenhornet inthe jws at the time in germany where considered part of the aryan race, (since they were not jews).
then things changed for the jws after rutherford mailed a letter to hitler bragging about jehovahs kingdom on earth.. so can we add this to the bloodshed that that the watchtower corp is responsible for?.

Generally, Rutherford perceived Jews as money loving people in control of Anglo-American empire and taking last nickle from passerby on the street. He also used terms like nose-hooked and Jesus murderer. There are tons of the material on the internet, and some Jewish groups had dedicated their effort to summarize various text and preaching from his era as a proof of antisemitism in WT.

You ignorant fool, the reality is the JWs stood up for the lies and corruption of the WTS and its own manipulation and exploitation of the bible thats all, in other words they stood up for the undeniably corruption of the WTS. by the pretentiousness of the that particular religious publishing house.
What I am trying to do is add context and knowledge to the existing accounts that are used to document the WTS and the Jw involvement in a very important time in political world history.
I would love to report that the WTS' accounts are complete, true and honest. Unfortunately, I can't. It would be practising dishonest research practises and I am unable to adopt the stance of the uninformed and disinformed.

Luke 22:34
Context: Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial.
33. But he said to Him, "Lord, with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!" 34 And He said, "I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know me."
Matthew 26:34
"Truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times." -

And that piece of information points to some things that I find interesting about the JWs and WW2 – how the WTS and the JWs fit, and don’t fit, within the historical narrative of blood medicine.
The WTS is blood guilty. And not just for those who died during the war in concentration camps, but also for those who have died since by following the WTS’ directive to refuse blood transfusions. The WTS has deceived the world with the blood doctrine because the roots of the blood transfusion ban aren’t in the Bible – the roots can be found in Nazi Germany during WW2.

The book by Detlef Garbe is Between Resistance and Martyrdom: Jehovah's Witnesses in the Third Reich.
Ah yes...Eisenhower. The WTS sure tried to get mileage out of that man. I think of "Ike" as the WTS' Michael Jackson of the 50s - celebrity status with a JW connection.
The WTS did not view Ike as an apostate - not by any stretch of the imagination - apostates don't get favourable articles written about them in WT literature.
