Of Late Many Here Seem To Be Preaching Aethiesm..
by Qcmbr inwhen i first came here a while back there was plenty of discussion around and about jw topics and general chit chat but of late i've felt quite a sharp increase in posts that are: .
1/ preaching aethism (as opposed to putting it forward in a respectful way as an alternate viewpoint.
2/ vitriolic attacks on those who dare have another view ('damn those stupid heretical believers') .

Hell! You all have gotten me all confused! Just what the hell am I supposed to post? I don't want to step on anyone's toes. I just post what's on my mind. Just blog type stuff. I'm starting to believe that I'm agnostic or whateva. So, if I start believing that I'm this or that and posting why I think that I'm this or that, I'm going to be lambasted for it? In general, I try to stay away from pro-JW posts, that's why I joined this board. To get support.And I agree with the poster who wrote this:
But to not accept that others are happy or question their idealogy or status quo...well that's just unacceptable.
I don't think that anyone should be forced to post the in a way that makes them feel like they're wimping out. I guess I'll be more careful about where I tread or thread.

If those are real photos of real dog's teeth, those dogs need braces bad! It doesn't look like they have any canine teeth. I think they may have to have some cosmetic dental work as well.

"The Note"
by AuSet inat the 1994 district convention in bismark, north dakota, (could possibly have been 93) my sister wrote a note to her friend and tossed it in the garbage.
the note contained a discussion about going to boy's hotel rooms after the sessions ended, and other troublesome activities, including lying to the parents about what my sister and her friend were doing.. presumably, an attendant found this note in the garbage and turned it into the elders.
on the last talk of the last day of the convention, the note was read out loud to the entire audience, along with the warning that "whoever you are, we will find you.

I think their talks are like the Zodiac signs. You make one for each month and it supposed to dictate what happens to everyone born in that month. It, probably, was a generic talk and your sister felt like they were talking only to her, just like a bunch of other teenagers who were, probably, thinking about doing the same thing.

Be careful, those of us that were drawn to the WTS for it's addictive qualities can easily replace that with such things as alcohol, drugs, sex, posting excessively on a JWD website...etc...
Isn't that something? They had us believing that all that stuff was a sin! Sex? Alcohol? Now, illicit drugs I can see, but not all drugs? I guess that you could of put in there that you will even start to think that getting a blood transfusion is ok, you'll start believing that the GB are false prophets, and that you'll actually won't to throw up for even believing in such dogma!
