Christmas at the in-laws...
by mrsjones5 inso i'm sitting on the couch with my husband in his grandmother's house, where his mother and brother (he's 40 and lives in the damp basement of the house - keep this in mind) lives also, chatting with the mil and bil who are sitting in the love seat.
prior to this i had found a copy of an english version of the kama sutra in my mil's stack of books that she keeps next to the couch to read.
i showed the book to my husband.

I was so stupid! I could just kick myself! How in the hell did I let myself get so brainwashed! Oh, it's like being lied to by your husband (when you saw the signs and ignored them). It makes you feel like a total fool. And to let my children get caught up into it...I'll never forgive myself.

Advice, please! Concerning the 2 witness rule
by whyizit inmy friend, who is not yet baptised in the wt, but is well on her way and very defensive of the wt, kind of led me into a conversation about how there has to be two witnesses for immoral acts, etc....(i guess someone recently got caught with another guy's wife, and it took a little detective work, because there has to be 2 witnesses.
) i brought up child molestors.
what does the wt do in those cases?

I say after the event happens, go to the ER, and get the rape kit thing done. If this is not possible, the person/child should make sure that she wears some underwear that can be used as evidence to give to the police. If nothing else, hide a camera in the child's room. DNA is powerful evidence. So is being caught on tape.

I remember the witnesses teaching that meditation was bad. Something about a empty house and letting demons in. I guess I need to get pass their teachings and start trying to meditate. It worked for Tina Turner!
