  How did you tell old distant friends that you faded? Or do you?

  you all have been so helpful in the past with these things...and i have another "how to deal" question.... ok, we have been faded for a while now.

  we have pumkins out for halloween, as well as fun decorations...the problem is..we got an anniversary card today in the mail from some old witness friends where we used to live...they wish they could visit...they are prone to drop by un announced...so..have any of you had any sucess of "warning" old witness friends that you have changed?.

  we are still trying not to get disfellowshiped for family reasons.

  It is true NOT to spill your guts to everyone....just your close friends who might feel hurt by your actions or lack of. I know it is not easy, believe me.

  Cab, The best thing to do is FIS-UP to your friends about your feelings and why you have faded.

  I have told my witness friends how I feel and why I didn't come to meetings because I can't stand being a hypocrite.....BUT it's not to say I don't believe in my creator and the scriptures. I do believe he has a promise to keep if we worship him and him only.

  Hopfully you dress up more than once a year and if you can't afford to buy your own candy then it is nice to have somone give it to you BUT why does it have to be a Pagan celebration to enjoy dressing up and free candy. If you like Pagan celebrations then say so....and stop acting stupid.

  Never mind what the witnesses think.....A better question is: What will Jehovah or Jesus think of your PAGAN HOLLOWED pumpkin...Of couse if you don't care what Jehovah and Jesus think then why care what the witnesses think?

  Keep Your Eye Simple - Special Assembly Day

  apparently, many of the dubs can't keep their eye simple, so they need an assembly to tell them how to do it.. youths, are you pursuing spiritual goals?

  is one talk for the afternoon.

  (education, careers).

  For some reason all our assembies were short the funds to pay for the electric bill...at every assembly they had to remind us how short they were after the lunch break. so like the sheep I was...I put more money into the box as I left the assembly hall.

  every year the jw's have a new theme "scripture" written on the wall near the stage.. what would you suggest for 2006?.

  Which aspect of JWs would you like to see a documentary about?

  if you had a chance to make a documentary about some aspect of the jws, what would ou choose?

  would you talk about shunning, the blood issue, explain how its a cult, or what?

  unfortunately this would only be for an 8 minute segment on a current affairs programme so i need something that'll get peoples attention and make them think without having to go too deep into the subject.. what would you choose to talk about?.

  i did hear about some bethelites visiting gay bars or engaging in homosexual acts in the late 70s and early 80s and were asked to leave bethel.
