  this has been bothering me for some time now and i'm hoping that some here will shed some light on the subject.. paul goes to great lengths to tell us that we can't earn god's grace (undeserved kindness).. the wts also says that.. but, the bible does give us some do's and don'ts.

  the bible does tell us about individuals who would be bad association.

  it also tells us about some sins that would cause the sinner to be ineligible for the new kingdom.. so do we in fact have to earn the undeserved kindness?

  if i told you that something bigger is on the horizon than dateline, bbc, cbc, sunday (australia), and all other tv programs which exposed the sexual child abuse cover-up by watchtower in 2002-2003, would you believe me?

  The misrepentation of facts issued in the blood book of the WTS organization is "Scare Tactics" for JWs who might even consider excepting blood if they needed to have a blood transfustion. That is wrong in it's self. Now to prove that the WTS was using "Scare Tactics" is another issue.

  Thank You Lady Lee.....I have taken a tour of Patterson, Wallkill, and Brooklyn...but when you are a JW all you can think of is this: "Well at least they are building something nice with our money for the world wide work"....DUH I was foolish....My son who lives out west will be coming to visit us next week so maybe I will arrange for him to visit Patterson since he argues, they are not building mansions. Of course he has been on a tour there as a boy while the building was in progress. I feel he should see it now with all the opulence.

  Why Would the Creater have to rest?

  it just occurred to me recently.

  we are told that holy spirit moves to and fro, that there is a source of dynamic energy that never stops etc, so why after 6 creative days, would there be a need to rest?

  Speaking of crazy....when reading the watchtower's lately...I can see how insane it was for me to believe, and hang on to every word of those old farts who claim to be the only channel to God. How could I ??

  jnat, I don't mean to imply that the people are corrupt....I was thinking along the lines of the leaders who seem to always have some backhanded scam or thing going on with the church itself.
