the april 15, 2007 watchtower revolves around the congregation, it's benefits and requirements.. the second study article is let the congregation be built up.

under the subheading sticking with the congregation the society acknowledges those who cannot accept a certain teaching even after doing research in their publications.. .

para 14 consider another possibility involving the congregation.

i was suffering through an interminably long sunday p.m. public talk (we flip-flopped w/ the other cong--at least sunday a.m. was a little more tolerable because there was still some of the day left to do something).

the speaker was talking about "physical training being beneficial for a little" and how some exercise was necessary.

nothing really to do with jwism but who prefers the american 'bourbon' type such as 'wild turkey', 'jim beam' etc or who prefers a fine single malt scotch such as 'glenfiddich' or 'glenmorangie'?

thank you for this place in cyber space, this is therapy for me.

there is something about writing things down, that helps put things in perspective........ the day i left it was pouring rain........i really screwed up, i found out the night before, as i was packing things up, that i had way under estimated how much stuff i had.

i had two large suit cases (that i could barely shut the lids on) and a large army duffel bag.

CO's talk includes drumbeat of obeying Jehovah's channel the faithful slave

with mary's review of the april 1 wt study article and this weeks public talk by the circuit overseer on obeying the channel of communication that jehovah has provided through means of the faithful and discreet slave, things are really hotting up.. the co practically shouted that we had to obey jesus' representatives to gain salvation.

this repetitive mantra of obey the channel, obey god's representatives, obey the faithful and discreet slave is really scary.. they have already replaced jesus as their old testament priesthood takes over, they have sidelined all non-anointed as "companions" of jesus, what more do they want?.

this is getting increasingly like what daniel and his three companions had to face - worship the golden image or die.. is it me or has the drumbeat of obeying the faithful slave taken on a decidedly louder beat?.

Since I only "enjoy" the sunday meeting: we just concluded the CO visit and I thought: this guy must be kidding.....

1) Who may enter into the new world:

2) Keep on donating your money on the international building commitee for kingdumb halls.
3) Obey the salve is essential (repeated 3x)
4) NO mention, not once, of the prerequisite of accepting Jesus as your savior by provising the ransom.NOT ONCE. NOT EVEN A HINT!
5) OT examples to enlighten christians (Psalms 15 contrary to Mark 12:30-32 which has a far more ethical reach)
6) WTS does not live up (what's new) to it's own measure by providing interest bearing loan's for building of kingdumb halls! To be honest, this was really the best CO visit I ever experienced!

My taste: Islay malts: 16 years at least of which my favorite: Bowmore which I am enjoying right now!

i was reading why people believe weird things by michael shermer,a leading skeptic.. he points that if the flood destroyed every living thing,that would have had to include fish and water living dinosaures.. god would have had to created fish after the flood..

By the looks of it: the chapters in the bible came in the wrong order: there has been a flood and NOah, started out as a farmer. But a snake told his wife to eat from the fruit and made wine. Then Noah drank and got pissed (boracho). He undressed himself and was naked. Then he became clothed but was expelled from the proximity of the ark that had given them shelter. .....

I believe I am influenced by a tiny shot of Single Malt....
