so, i was at the local mall today and ran into a jw friend that i had grown up with and attended school with.

hadn't seen him in 6 months or so.

The fact is that 6,000 years have failed to produce a credible form of government from among mankind. Despite some gains, the crisis overall gets worse, not better. Is such a credible government possible, one that can remove the present inequitable economic order, driven by greed and its obsession for warfare?

So despite all kinds of problems, ups and downs.......this is something that is already lasting 6000 years guys.......and that is called failing to produce a credible form of government? Sure the 130 year of WT leadership has proven beyond a shred of a doubt that...yes, they can.....

Matth 24:14 has already been fulfilled. See James Rayford speech and I believe a WT from 1984 where it said that the preaching work that had begun in the first century and was spearheaded by the apostle Paul would be complete this 20th century.

hello everyone, in recent times the society has written/referred  quite a lot  about the prophecy of malachi 3:1-3, the inspection  of the temple etc.   im posting it , hoping that it will be of help to some, because imho, it shows -  for the doubtful - how fragile  are  the foundations of another important idea/doctrine/teaching of the wtbs inc.   (malachi 3:1-3) look!

president-elect obama will never take office.. bush will extend his term until "the problem" can be resolved.. violence will erupt within the usa due to "this problem".

Jesus said that President Bush would still be in office when we are raptured. (OMG!!!!) He said Jesus has a list of those who would be raptured.

while the rapture is taking place.......Bush will still be in office. I thought he was a born again, looking forward to the rapture....apparently he lost his seat.....

It should read: sole channel, not soul channel. All else looks good.

Currency Changes

i would just like to start this thread so we can watch what is happening with the currencies in other nations.

welcome to the euroon january 1, 2009 slovakia switches to a new currency: the if slovaks decide to buy that extra bottle of champagne shortly after midnight on new year's eve, they will be charged in euros.

similarly, people leaving celebrations to welcome the arrival of the new currency in slovakia will also have to pay for their bus tickets and taxis in euros.

question on atheism vs. god

i am, for now a witness on the outside, and still believe in god most of the time.

i have read dawkins "the god delusion", found it pretty interesting and helped me understand why athiests believe the way they do.

but i always have questions.....one that really bothers me about deism is the thought that god has always existed and always will, had no beginning and no end.

Of course there is Jeremy, you have to know, so you can preach and convert every living damn thing you see.

You cannot know about something that is not. God is not. Therefore you cannot know it. Therefore, you cannot preach and cannot convert every living damn thing you see.

But you can have an opinion about something that is not. But that doesn't convert everyone but you can preach!
