It's amazing how quickly they turned on you. But since you yourself noticed how they are not in complete harmony with the truth as taught by Jehovahs witnesses......they are actually apostate and are not keeping pace with Jehovahs organisation........
lot's of loaded language I know but very handy to use in such situations..

Jehovah's hand or dumb luck? What about the poor neigbours who were blown away...or the brothers who DIDN'T make it out alive? Did they not pray hard enough? Or was it not "Jehovah's will."
No the neigbours should have joined in the preaching work....... often.....so not always......raises interesting questions.....

i was speaking to a family member who is still a jw in very good standing and she told me that last week she was told by an elder of very good repute in my old congregation this:-.
he has been told that any of the current governing body when they die will not be replaced!!!!!!!!!!.
i cannot even begin to take this in!.

Well......what's new.......In the parable about him being in prison and those at the right side having visited him he says: inherit the kingdom.....because the WT applies this to the other sheep......the conclusion may be that the other sheep ARE in fact joint heirs wih Christ and therefore brothers......and therefore part of spiritual Israel and therefore should partake......
Quite confusing that WT theology......I sure have to keep up with their flickering light

i recently met a woman here at work (a contractor) and discovered she is an ex-jw.
eventually we got around to telling why each of us left the religion.
she said the main reason for her was not doctrines, but because she was tired of the physical and emotional abuse she received.

from what i've read on here, i understand many of you have a certain amount of anger over the way the society controlled every aspect of your lives.
thats understandable.
i still have a bit, even though my fade is complete.. that being said, i think everyone on here has a goal to help those that are still trapped inside the mind controlling cult.
Many witnesses do not have a problem with joking about other religions an rudicule other religious beliefs.
Now they come to this site and find the same thing: other people ridculing their religious beliefs and defamation of their holy houses.......When I read The truth (TM) for the first time I really LMAO. It is a ridicule....but every witness knows it to be true, Gibbering body...hahaha...priceless. Every witness knows this t be true........Witchtower, Babble and trick society......LMAOROFL and that sort of thing. .....
But the top layer of the JW sentiment is: they view their organisation as holy, a godly institution. No ridicule allowed for that is what enemies of God do. But here's the deal: The more they get ridiculed, the better they are able to think about it themselves, it lowers the treshhold........
So please, keep on ridiculing and coming up with nice descriptions......many people don't stumble across this site.......they come here intentionally......out of curiousity or because it has been recommended.......
