Even though I survived California falling into the sea and Armageddon in 1975, it was hard for me to see a future for myself and plan ahead for many years. Investing, buying a home, retrying to complete a higher education, very difucult.
It must have done something to my head. How about you all?
i just went to the store a few hours ago, some store but does have 4 places for handicap people to park in, well of course when i get there four assholes young people were parked in all four places, and when i had to walk by the them gave them a good piece of my mind.
and they of course got mad (4 guys waiting on their bitches i guess) and told me to "f" myself, when another older man hollered at them they of course told him the same thing, and then a store employee was out there gathering carts and he told them to leave the handicap parking they told him the same thing.
well upon exiting the store there was a local policeman who had driven up (that upholds my belief in god) and was giving all four of the assholes a ticket for parkintg in handicap parking, i made sure i told him about how they acted and what they told me.
I had an elderly lady threaten me with "citizens arrest" in the store parking lot once because I "didn't look sick" I explained that I was chronicaly ill and every step I took was agony and I could only take so many limited steps that day or else colapse. I told her my placard was legit. Well, that made her angrier. She then went into the store ahead of me and asked the manager to call the police.
Here in California they are real tough on disabled parking violations so we don't have a problem with non disabled using them, just militant senile old ladies with attitudes.
High five to all of you dealing with disabilities. Raised in a cult, then disabled, I get a little cranky sometimes.
i have to go to the district assembly or convention or whatever its called this weekend.
it's just crippling to my naturally good mood to think about the multiple hours of bullcrap i will have to endure.
do you guys have any tips or experiences to help me pass the boredom without getting into too much trouble?
For me salvation came in being able to vollunteer when I was a kid. I haven't been in many years thank goodness growing up has many kickbacks. I found picking up trash and sweeping so much better than sitting there being indoctrinated. You know how righteously clean we leave our stadiums. Righteously clean yep.
