Nope, I haven't been visited by any dubs since I moved here 3 years ago. Guess they must sense the lack of Jehovah here

Wealthy vs Poor Cong. Which ones were more real?
by hambeak ini am curious about this because as i was growing up i attended a very poor cong.
benches for seats and light bulbs hanging from wires from the ceiling and mostly black folks.
some of the best people i ever knew never stingy alway kind.

I started out in a really wealthy cong. It was ok for a while, but some things just got to me. When I started to go to the Spanish (much much poorer cong) there was a huge difference!!! People were much warmer, not so cliqueish. I ended up in a Spanish cong that was in a fairly wealthy area as well....the elders there were what eventually did it for me. They had dinero and thought they knew it all, were a bit above the rest! The white rich people were actually better than the spanish rich people but I'll take poor any color any day!!!

I hate it when they make me cry!!
by Scully ini thought i was pretty much immune to any jws being able to tug at my heartstrings anymore.. mr scully and i were out shopping this morning, when someone called my name and then grabbed me and gave me a big hug.
i hadn't seen her in over 15 years.
back then, she was a teenager and i was about 10 years older than her... but we hit it off really well and mr scully and i became really good friends with her and her parents.

I know exactly how you feel.
There's one family I was extremely close too that I think about quite a bit. They were the best, always trying their hardest and helping everyone they could with anything! Now that I have a little girl, I wish I could share her pics, funny things she does, everything....with the wife of the family (my best bud). She took care of kids occasionally and would be able to help me with all the child rearing questions I have. It doesn't make sense that she and her family still follow the society, I just don't get why they can't see it for what it is!
At least you got a moment to catch up and see your friend again even for a bit. Maybe it won't be the last time

I did when I was little and then stopped cause it was such a BAD THING to do, ya know...
But now, I just can't get enough of the Halloween spirit
I'm having so much fun deciding what my 14-month old will be next month. I can't decide between Nemo, a ladybug, a skunk or Yoda... What do ya'll think?
