I really got into Survivor last time around. I think that it would be alot of fun....well...maybe not the eating bugs part....
Another one would be Prisonbreak...I could be locked up with those guys any day!!
.
so if you could be on a tv show what show would it be?
one of the shows i would to be on is 'lost' and another is 'battlestar galactica'.

yep, as i'm tapping away here i started to hear the gentle roar on the patio roof - it was a shower!
and the water's free!.
looking out the window i marvel at the richness of the green - the green leaves on the trees and bushes in the backyard, the green of the grass - and it's various shades too!
I love the rain, the smell, the touch, the sound...just about everything
UNLESS it happens to be raining on one of the days I've scheduled to plant flowers....then I get soaked and it makes a massive mess!!

i don't encourage anyone to drive over the speed limit, but i find this site interesting, and could help you avoid a speeding ticket.
This was front page in our local news section today. They had a few areas around where I live, but the one spot where the cops are ALWAYS at wasn't listed. I just went and posted it. Thanks for the reminder
when i was a jw i remember that sometimes we would talk about the split after rutherford took over the wts.
i knew "some" people had left the wts over doctrinal issues.
of course we were never told what those doctrinal issues were... but i would occasionally wonder what happened to those who left.
Yes, I remember talking with the lady I studied with about Ray Franz and what happened during that time period. Looking back now, she didn't have a clue about what went down. She mainly just kept pointing out how "apostates" can creep into the TOP of the org. When I asked what happened, she really didn't know. When I asked what they are doing now, she said I should stop asking.
I ended up keeping my thoughts to myself afterwards. Eventually, I believed I shouldn't even conjure up the thought of apostates.
you know the type: a goody 2 shoes.
one that wouldn't associate with other witnesses because they weren't mature enough?
?
Ha, that's funny....
I was the one always trying to stay as far as possible from those guys.
they have some politicians with good foresight in sweden and they are on course to becoming totally oil free in 15 years, even vehicles will not use gasoline, and given the tripling of oil prices in 10 years that is a wise decision, after all oil will run out sooner or later.
already only a third of its energy comes from oil.
if only more countries were as environmentally sensitive, instead of bush just saying that the usa is addicted to oil he should do something about it.
Good article...looks like a couple other countries are trying to use other sources of power too. I wish we could have some sort of timeline like that here in the u.s. We could sure use it!
oh i am so excited .
last december child # 3 phoned after 7 years to meet with me,,,oh so good, with a slow but steady relationship .
child #1 , dtr, is still distant, but busy with her career and 2 children(but now her 15 yr old dtr is giving her a run for her money---->>>>pay back time lol) .
YEAH!!!!
I've been waiting to hear more news from ya! I'm soooo excited to hear it!!!
tah dahhh!!!
i got it done friday night after work.
it's a true to life tattoo of my cat bucky.
Wow...pretty cool!! I really like your tattoo!!!
I had 3 tattoos before I was a witness and now that I'm out I'm ready to get more!!
I love the fact you got one of your kitty...funny...the whole time I was a witness my best friends were my 2 kitties. They got me through more crap than any witness friend could! I had a portrait painted of one of them after she died. I need to get one done of the other.
Thanks for sharing the pics...

New chicken place popping up all over the place here in the south. Can't beat their kickin chickin sandwich! (Buffalo chicken strips with ranch sauce between 2 pieces of texas toast!!) HMMMMMM...I'm hungry now!!!
i used to listen but not really.
i'd look at the platform/speaker stand, look like i was paying attention, get antsy, and find another elder to "discuss" something ith.
i just got to the meeting----right before it was to start and if the talkative po decided that his last part was going to go overtime, i'd put on my coat and look at the big clock on my way out in front of everyone and leave for the local bar.
Every once in a while I'd listen to what was being said, but it didn't last long. I always remember thinking what else I couuld be doing. We'd write notes back and forth....what do think of sister x's dress, where is bro.z today?, where do you want to eat after the meeting? etc, etc.. I used to draw pictures in the Watchtower during the study.
I found one of my notebooks from an assembly a few weeks ago and there were so many little notes all over the margins. Man, I think we talked more about the guys than anything else
When I started to go to Spanish meetings, I didn't understand a damn thing. It was great, I didn't have to comment cause I couldn't!!! hahaha
