Can anyone get Cheney's speech? (and did you catch the processional for Wayman Tisdale's funeral?!?!?!)
by Kudra inwatching cnn live and cheney's speech isn't playing which i thought it would- 10:45 eastern??
(do i have my times mixed up?).
i loved obama's speech and am curious how cheney could possible match that.... and while watching for cheney's speech they arer showing the funeral for jazz guitarist wayman tisdale and when the pall bearers carried his casket up to the stage they were doing this little two-step thing, kind of dancing with his casket.

I think I read that after he retired from prof basketball he became a jazz guitarist. I have never heard of him before today but was very impressed with his funeral procession!
Also: Cheney's speech just began.
From the first bit, it seems that he doesn't like being talked of negatively by big bad Obama. So he's having a televised speech to defend his last 8 years of policy. OK... the *last 8 years* would have been the time for this new-found "transparency".
Not interested.

The Rolling Stones have a cool song called "Continental Drift".
I heard it a few years ago and loved it. I downloaded it a day or so ago and it isn't as cool as I rememberr it beut still pretty neat. It is sort of ...Indian sounding or something. Neat.

Yes, I listened to this today too.
Pretty much any "spiritual" encounter can be replicated by fiddling with the temporal lobe.

Jehobo Witnesses = Did you have people who dressed like it was still the 70's?
by Witness 007 in"jehobo witnesses" lol crack myself up!
i remember from 1995 -2005 some brothers still wearing chocolate brown single breasted suits...bell bottoms, cream shoes, huge belts...stuff that hasn't been on sale for 20 years!
sisters in plade skirts from the 70's...they looked like they just stepped out of the "time machine.

When I lived in Colorado we went to the Convention in Denver. So the population density in that area (like, all of CO and South and North Dakota) is really low so we have people from everywhere at that convention.
Oh my god- teh fashion from those northern states! The "sisters" would wear patchwork quilted skirts... I think I even saw an apron-type dress accessory... Many blanket-related fashion disasters...
Course, I thought I was pretty cool in whatever I was wearing in the late 90s. Probably looked pretty weird myself.
