  Something I want to tell you apostates

  i want you to know that you have destroyed a family because of your lies about jehovah and his organization.

  a family member went apostate and has turned his back on jehovah.

  he told us he is never coming back and i know he went and visited internet sites.

  Little did I know what kind of power I held in my hands! By simply questioning and being labeled (I just LOVE Labels...they're so convenient after all and make it easy to not have to use critical thinking) I have the ability to wreck families, just in the same way the WTS wrecked mine!

  If that's not karmic debt I don't know what is. By golly, you're right!

  This gathering flies with vinegar is a PERFECT strategy and will be sure to turn our demonized minds back on the narrow and rickity path to Dubness.

  WEDDING PHOTOS

  had a fantastic time, couldnt have asked for better weather...forecast said it was going to rain it was hot and sunny right up until we went inside for the reception then a brief shower or too so that was fantastic.. ceremony was over before i knew it, went without a hitch.. reception and photos both great fun.. pretty buggered now hehehehe.. the next few photos are of us in the morning unfort as yet i have none of the ceremony but will pass them on if anyone wants to see.

  I used to be embarrassed...but I'm not anymore. I had no control over it since I had been brought up in that religion and I thought (at the time) that I was doing the right thing. I think most people though are very interested in knowing what it was like, and believe me can I dish out. :)

  *Serious Question* ...Do you ever HATE yourself by times?

  Yes. And I'm on medication and going to therapy to try to correct that. I have turned lack of control in my life (while in the org) into a self-destructive habit, where at least I can control something about me...and I hate it. I'm getting better though. I know I'm not a horrible person, I have friends and loved-ones who think I'm okay...and if they like me, then I SHOULD be able to like myself. But it's hard.

  P.S. - You asked for suggestions...my bad! :) There's something you can do by yourself...just stop being so hard on yourself. When you feel those negative thoughts come over you, stop yourself mentally and really look at WHY you are thinking that. Is there a stressor involed? Are you around a certain someone? Are you doing something in particular? Find out where and what causes you to go into this thought loop. I find now I can talk myself down off of such negative thought patterns now that I can stop myself mentally and address it versus just letting it run wild in my head.

  DFed, more positive or negative?

  just musing.... from the vantage point of being "out", it seems to me that being dfed would be really, really painful, but ultimately a good thing.

  (i was shunned by my family when i finally left though, so i know a little of what a dfed person goes through, although i didn't put myself through going back to meetings and being shunned) .

  i was publicly reproved, and was not allowed to answer in meetings, but i was not shunned.
