ok, i've been involved with jw's for 15 years or so, but i've not been deep enough into any "clicks" to know how someone gets "marked".
will someone explain?
i'm sure i must have been marked more than once for stupid reasons - only going to 2-3 of the 5 weekly meetings (hey, some of us do have to do laundry every now and then), not commenting enough (they wouldn't want to hear my comments now), not going out in service enough, etc.

I was marked because i shaved my head...Had it shaved for about three years.
The elders would be nice and friendly with all my family, invite them out to dinner at their place, play sports, movies and other outings but would exclude me from the invite???
I was pissed off but really didnt care.
This one elder is so friendly with my older and younger brothers, but would not even acknowledge me even if i standing in front of him.
His wife was really nice, she always spoke to me. The son was friends with younger brother and would talk to me. But the daughter whom i really close with suddenly grew an 'im too good for' attitude.
Here in Aus, shaving your hair to a number 0 was a big NO NO. I stood out at circuit assemblies and DCs.
I finally grew my hair back cause i wanted to, and had to start using 'product' again. i saved so much money having no hair.

my last cong here in sydney, there was about 160 publishers so the talent was every where... i remember having the hots for this sister, who happens to be the wife of the service overseer... she was xxx hot.
i remember always having to wear my suit coat to the meeting to hide my excitement.. i think all the bro's must have thought the same thing.

i did a double take when i saw this and then had to stand back and observe for about 20 minutes -- what i observed is that no one stops at the table except what appear to be fellow jdubs.
here in sydney, there is an old brother in a wheelchair who has a stand in Town Hall station. Town hall being Sydneys 2nd biggest and busiest train stations. He is there nearly everyday... I wonder if anyone stops to talk to him...
