  I have also had all those same feelings and thought's about the WTS ... is it all about them or is it about jehovah. but I held in as long as I could with my feelings becuse of KNOWING that if anything else was said that I would loose my entire family. Personally any religion that asks that you SHUN family or others that you have a MORAL obligation to be nice too can not be the truth. This fact is pretty painfully obvious to people forced into the religion by being born into The Truth and many that sit in the hall everyday.. the problem is that THERE IS NO WAY TO EXIT with a clear concious! they hold your family hostage.

  JW Urban Ledgends - Fact or Fiction?

  growing up as a jehovahs wittness my parents used to rationalize or have a urban ledgends reguarding why we could not do something or why something was evil/bad.

  some of these i have heard in various forms around here in the forums.

  Dez lol you have a ton of eM! now thats SHOCK AND AWE ... hmmmm I noticed some re occuring themes here (smile if you know jw 133t$pe3k) hmmm lets see alot of these things
  
  involve childern?
  toys, cartoons, action figures, kind of ironic that there are no simular comparison stories about objects of desire and trust that adults own seems like.
  
  burning of stuff thats bad
  burning of the material cant be done? ... honestly that one that one would be so easy to disprove if ever anyone had such and item.

  why couldnt of this happened to me when I was on drugs .. lol I wanted to sin more LOL and even wished I had more drugs... but none reappeared to me?

  The teacher in 4th grade wispering to another teacher .... "That lil boy is a communist becuse he does not salute the flag...." I was not even old enough to know what a communist was and had to go and look it up lol... Although I do appreciate the person it made me - I will probably never salute or pledge to any world run organization!
