The Watchtower Game!
by Confession induring the nineties, there was a big mexican family that attended our congregation.
while they were not financially well off, they often enjoyed having the friends over for gatherings in their large home.
did it have something to do with the way sister oliveros actually said the word broom-ho?

LoL about the confession part I cant understand why some people feel the need.. hehehe after all it just leads to becoming disfellowshiped doesn't it? no matter what you have done wrong it winds up being a matter of heart.. and that whole thing about them being able to examine repentance thats just out of the ball park? how can you do such a thing determine if someones sincerly repentant can only done by god? we have determined that jehovah doesn't except your repentance HA that is one of the biggest jokes I have ever heard and the main reason I ran for the hills at 14 and never got baptised. ONLY GOD DETERMINES REPENTANCE I had never felt any need for the elders to determine my repentance....

Motivation...
by Jordan ini need motivation to get this work done.
i don't need to do alot, just write a short proposal for a system, it's just so mind numbingly boring, i can't seem to get started.
it's due in for friday, i know i've left it late, and me going out in a little while isn't going to help matters, but i was just wondering what you guys do when you can't seem to motivate yourself into getting something done...

Theocratic Warfare: Is It Still Practiced?
by Nate Merit ini was "in the truth" for about four years and was disfellowshipped thirty-three years ago at the age of nineteen.
when i became involved, at age fifteen, i was taught 'theocratic warfare' which is 'lying for the truth.
' it really didn't bother me until i was several years older and became more introspective.

Hi, Confession :) and everyone :) The main thing about "The Organization" is that they allow local interpetation of whats right, whats wrong and who is repentent (thats jehovahs job). I really dont think they have much to worry about with the internet considering most people dont take what they read on the net for fact and its very easy to explain away how the internet is run buy the "evil slave" etc. What is interesting is that the modern age especially video is going to catch up with them. Tangible proof of wrongdoings on the be half of elders etc... impossible to escape impossible to dance around. This will eventually force the organization to change its policys and further distance itself from the flock and the local elders forcing them to put qualified people (possibly even paid employees) in the position of elder or pastor. What are the requirements for being qualified to be and ministerial servent or elder? what kind of training to they get? how devoted are they (turn over rate)? have they given there entire life to training for the responsibility. or is it just random apponintments to these positions? can you really be a construction guy or migrant worker by day and just moonlight as a qualified counselour without any formal education?

Etymology The word study comes from the Middle English word studie which comes from the Old French estudie which comes from Latin studium which means to devote oneself.
