Finally got scans of the new blood card

ok folks, i have been nagged so have worked out how to scan and upload images and here they are for you, front and back of the card, and 3 pages of the instructions on how to fill them in.

Did God create good and evil?
by THE SHOOTIST inisaiah 45:7 says he did.
gen. 3:16/17 says that he placed the tree of knowledge of good and bad in the middle of the garden.
didn't god say in gen 3:22 that after man ate of the fruit he has become like us (the gods)knowing good and evil.

Now I'm finally free I can actually acknowledge the question that had always plagued me.. why did god create the earth knowing what we were going to do? The dub explanation that he CHOSE not to know is utter crap. he could not choose not to know, I cannot choose not to know things, I either know them or I dont.
Also that Adam, eve and zillions of angels all perfect were tempted.. what does this say about the perfect human? That they are much like the imperfect one! They want more, and they want what they cant have! They were clearly flawed from the very beginning, if god wanted robots then he should have made them.

just wrapped my first christmas gift...
by in a new york bethel minute init was fun!
the only thing that sucked about it was the fact that i had no idea how to wrap a gift... late 20's and i've never wrapped a present before????
hahaha only in the jw faith is that possible!!!

My lovely (and true) friends at work, have bought me gifts at christmas for the past 4 years despite my non celebration. this year I decided to start small, ie I bought them gifts and cards and have returned cards to those who sent them to me. My very best friend made a huge deal and bought me a fluffy card that says 'Babys first Christmas' which just brought tears to my eyes. They've stuck with me and although not understanding have never made a deal over the christmas thing. This year I've had SUCH fun buying them presents!!!!

this led to all kinds of unpleasant, unloving situations.
the first question of the accused was always "who told you this?

The rule of going to the person first is often overlooked, this happened to me a couple of months ago, 'someone' said they saw me drunk (on this occasion it actually wasn't true!!) and went to the elders, the elders asked this person to come to me, but they wouldn't... so they ignored the rule and just came to me (as a pair) to discuss it.. well actually, first they discussed it with my husband. The whole thing made me furious. This person, went to one elder, who went to another, they were obliged to tell the P.O and then my husband.. lastly, and months later, they came to me. Totally ignoring the scriptural way of doing things. Fortuanately it worked in my favour! cos I wasn't at the meeting where the elder approached my hubbie, he then spoke to me so gave me advance warning and I was able to look over my diary and realise what had happened (I was actually helping a very sick friend home from work and she was feeling so ill, I was having to hold her up, which made me appear as if I was staggering!!!!)
I was so mad I let rip. this supposed beloved brother or sister of mine did not even stop to make sure I was ok? Just went home and phoned the elders straight away.
But I suppose it was one of the last straws so I can be grateful!

Brand New Blood Card
by PoppyR inhubby has just come back from the service meeting where they have been handed out brand new style blood cards, now called 'advance decision to refuse specified medical treatment' .
it's quite a bit different.
and has the line on it about giving permission to the hospital liason committee to see your notes and medical records.. very scary stuff i think, and i certainly wont be filling one in.. i'm really short of time tonight, but will scan it in, along with the notes that go with it and try and post it some time over the next day or so if someone else doesn't beat me to it!.

by BluesBrother ini have had a quick look and found no references to this, so - here goes..as in the mag we picked up on sunday.. worldwide % increase over 2004 = 1.3%.
memorial partakers 8524 (compared to 8570 in 2004).
most european and nth american lands show pretty static figs - britain 1% increase, canada 0%, germany 0%, france 1%, usa 0%... but spare a thought for the inhabitants of zambia where 1 person in 90 is a reporting witness, must be hell going down to the local market!

Since I've been posting here, it's freaked me out rather that there are obviously people right up to elders etc who dont believe it's the truth, I just dont know how they keep going!! I just found the meetings absolutely unbearable!! And how do they counsel and sit through elders meetings etc.. And nobody ever speaks to anyone else about it just in case they get ratted on..
