Hi!
Since I am a newbie here I am just curious about everyone else on the group. I live in Missouri and have most of my life. I lived in CA. and TX also but only for short periods of time. I was a JW all my life until I got sick of the crap and was DF'd in '96. I don't belong to another religion nor do I think I ever will and I am over all the JW crap but I like coming here because you all are the only ones who knows what I am talking about if I want to make fun of somethign JW related! I am in my thirties, female, married with one step-daughter. We live on five acres in the country and have one dog, three cats and endless "critters" out in the wild! I am an Admin. Asst. and enjoy my work. I also love reading, walking, crocheting and of course making friends on the net. So please everyone, tell me about yourselves!

I am friggen huge, (trying a new style diet)
by jelly inwhether this is going to work out or flop, i am not sure.
the goal however is to make my eating habits public in an attempt to prevent myself from straying off my diet.
i have not always been overweight but currently i am friggen huge.

Good Luck Jelly!!! I am trying to lose weight too. What has really helped me is my exercise routine. I walk two miles every other day and on the days I don't walk I use my stair stepper for 30 minutes. After I do one of those, I do 50 stomach crunches and then I work out with light arm weights. I highly recommend Tony Little's Upper Body Workout Video. He is annoying but the exercises are great and go from beginner to advanced. I have been doing this for a month and already seeing good results. Now I just have to cut back on junk food (I am an ice cream junkie) and then I'll be doing REALLY good. So hang in there Jelly, you can DO IT!!!

Yes, I know ALOT of people from Poplar Bluff. Depending on your age, I may even know you. I am in my mid-thirties and hung out with the Polar Bluff crowd quite a bit in my mid-teens.
