Sorry I've not been posting much this week
by Yerusalyim inmuch to the chagrin of a few, and the relief of hundreds, i've not been posting much this week.
i have a new class in the academy, actually, i'll have two back to back.
while i'm getting better at this and finding a bit more free time, it does keep me off the puter.

Are there any boards out there......
by copsec inwho are maybe made up of former jw's that would know what i was talking about if i made a reference to something once in awhile but that does not have so much jw related things on it like this one does?
don't get me wrong, i like this board and i like alot of the people here but i am just interested in more casual things than whats going on at meetings, what's in the new magazines, who is getting in trouble next, etc.
i still like coming here, just would like to know other options.

Has Anyone Ever Met Any Celebrities?
by imallgrowedup inthis is a spin-off of another thread where my *mild and chaste* friend, mouthy, admitted to wanting to meet her dream man, tom jones, and that she would even go so far as to throw her bloomers at him, if that is what it would take to get his attention!
well, the mental picture this painted was far too much for me to bear, so i encouraged her to save her red polka-dotted "unmentionables", not only because she might need them in the future, but because i didn't think she'd have to go that far to get his attention.
and i said that - because of a personal experience with him.

I have met Joe Bonsall of the Oak Ridge Boys (very nice) and Sammy Kershaw (was ok) Have no desire whatsoever to meet Tom Jones. GAG! (Sorry Mouthy) My dream meet would be Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. I know he is not GREAT looking but there is something about him.....

What is it with British accents?

British accents are definately HOT!! What freaks me out is how someone can have a strong British accent but when they sing you don't hear a trace of it!

Ticked off and lonely ( a rant)

last weekend my girlfriend and i were going to finally have a "girl's night out.

Eric,
He can't drive right now because of a DWI. Mind you, he has never had one before. HE doesn't drink a whole lot, a beer here or there. Even the night he got pulled over he had only had three beers. But unfortunately that did put him over the limit. We talk all the time so it's not a big communication problem either. Maybe he is just tired cause he does have a strenuous job. I dunno. Maybe I am just over-reacting. We women can do that. I just know I am not feeling very attractive to him right now. But thanks for all the advice from you and everyone else. He is my best friend and we will work things out. I cannot imagine my life without him in it.

Ha! No one in a Kingdumb hall has cared about what I'm doing for a VERY long time. THANK GOD! And really, All this person said on another group was that her MIL had called her but said she was in a hurry cause she had a special meeting to go too. So mjaybe it was just a C.O.l visit or something and she just made it sound bigger than what it was

I dunno what the deal is. He swears he is not seeing someone else. He says he is just tired. Well heck, I am tired too but still have needs! I finally just quit asking for it. Figure when it wants it he'll let me know. And as for me looking elsewhere, well I could, but I don't. He is my best friend. I just wish that I still gave him the "spark" he needs!
