My mother Noticed

Commenting on Metatrons' post, you pretty much summed up my entire 'active' JW experience. Lonely and then being stripped of ALL my privilages for asking a few questions. All in a nut shell.
The Borg Masters really do seek out broken people, their easier to control. Emtionaly mature, financially stable people have little but 'show' value to those controlling snakes.

? about the Lords's Prayer and JWs

for 35 years, and it never once occurred to me why we never taught our children the lord's pray.. our father who art in heaven hollow be thy name..... anybody have any reason for our ignoring the most perfect prayer offered up by god's son.. my fiance' ask me this tonight i can't explain it except that it would have turned into a repetitive expression like all our prayers were anyway... hell is truth seen too late.

I think a MAJOR reason the Borg Masters don't want the R&F JW's to say the Lords prayer is in the precieved RELATIONSHIP between the one praying and the one prayed to.
Remember, according to cult central, the great crowd JW's heavenly father is JESUS, not JEHOVAH. The Borg Masters don't believe avarage JW's have a filial or direct relationship with Jehovah God as the Bible teaches.
They believe Jehovah is their heavenly GRANDFATHER or someother non-directly related entity, so a prayer calling God their heavenly father goes directly against what the Borg Masters teach.
Imagine R&F JW's calling God their heavenly father. Why, they would then begin to think of themselves as deserving all the rights and priviliges due children of God.
But where would that leave that vipers nest called the FDS? The FDS would lose their position and control over the masses. They dangle 'possible' sonship with God, ( in a thousand years + last days ), over the heads of the R&F to CONTROL them, those vomit/puss filled boils on the skin of humanity!

I think most 'good' JW's avoid boards like this like the plague.
However,
due to the increasing involvment of lawyers in official Borg business,
I think the lawyers will take it upon themselves to see what the 'enemy' is doing and mabey even act covertly behind the Borg Masters' collective backs, like hacking and mabey 'flaming' this DB and other embarassing websights. All for Gods' glory, ofcourse.On the flip side, I think Borg central will have to keep their guard up to protect others from hearing and seeing the dirty little decisions they make with other peoples lives.
Electronic listening devices pointed right at an open window, bug sized cameras in the corner of a window or door. Why, with just a little $$ and imagination the next big scandal could be front line news,... well, internet front line news anyway.

i desperately feel that the grand title of apostate applies no more to ex jws than it does to the whole of active jws.. therefore, i am asking for some sort of alternative title for the wonderful people who post on here.
the word apostate strikes fear in the average dub.

would you take blood?
by master chief inim confused would i take blood if i was about to die and had no other alternative treatment well to me thats allways been a hard one one to answer and people have allways hated witnesses for refusing it or not giving blood to there own kids.you see my mothers due in to hospital on tuesday and having a major operation the problem for her is she is inactive as a jw and has no blood card which is upto date what do you think she should do 1.phone elders 2.trust in jehovah and refuse blood.3if it comes to the worst take blood and live.

And I WOULD NOT respect my wifes wishes to not take blood, (she is still in). Because Watchtower blood policy is based on a LIE, I will not stand by and see my baby or anyone else for that matter sacrificed on their DISGUSTING, INHUMAN alter!
I'd rather have my baby ALIVE and hateing me than COLD and DEAD!

freedom of religious belief in JW
by tosko injws are advocating religious freedom for the simple reason that they want to be recognised as a religion in some countries and freely advocate their beliefs.
they believe they should be given equal rights as a christian denomination.
but i happen to know, when a member of jws wants to leave the organisation, there are meetings with the elders, things are said to you that only wts is the true organisation of god.

Well, to answer your question, IMO, the Jehovahs Witness faith CAN'T give freedom of belief to their own followers because they never had it to offer them in the first place.
In the WEST, at least, religions don't usually hold a gun to your head to force you to stay. However the .org leaders will 'sanction' you if you go: family breakups, no business deals, lifelong SHUNNING and other evil things.
What is even worse is that the .org leaders LAMENT over the fact that they can't outright KILL those who leave their cult. ( I forgot the WT that was on, mabey someone can remember. )
I think it is just a matter of degrees when it comes to how a religion or belief system treats someone who wants to leave. If your a Catholic, you could walk away without much trouble, but if your a JW and try to walk away GOD HELP YOU. They will send their NAZI STORM-TROOPER ELDERS AFTER YOU to 'catch you' in dissapproved activity and thus 'deal with you' in their eyes. The .org leaders REALLY are sad they can't stone you right there, just like the Pharisees'.
