  at work tonightbecause we are getting a snowstorm, any ideas what I can do all night??? I can't actually sleep because its uncomfortable and people snore or stay up all night talking to loud, so I need something to spend my time doing...open for any/all suggestion

  at hebrews 10: 26,27 the bible warns those who would consider leaving christianity: "for if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgement and a fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

  " is the bible trustworthy in saying that those who leave christianity are certain to experience a dread of judgement by god?

  I don't believe the bible, It was written by MEN and over the years has been altered to fit the JW's belief system,. think about the stories in the bible for a moment : 3 men thrown in a fiery furnace and lived? haha yeah right. Oh and a snake that is the devil talking to a woman telling her to eat a forbidden fruit...just seems like a good fiary tale is all.

  i was looking through the dub dating website that was advertised in another thread on here and noticed that an awful lot of young dubs are looking to meet people aged "18 - 80" ...yes 80 !.

  now this could be because these young dubs are really spiritual and believe that the great tribulation is just around the corner and that provided they've sold enough mags they and their 80 yr old partner will make it through and that "wrinkles" will become young again.

  or it could be because the young dubs are gold digging ?

  Hard to deal with

  im a young jehovahs witness, baptized at 8 years old, and now i regret the decision.

  i miss my sister so bad, shes been disfellowshipped for 3 or 4 years now, and i still talk to her sometimes over email and online, but its not the same as talking in real life.

  i get random crying episodes, like last night at meeting.

  My Dad died this evening

  i thought i would let you know that my dad, passed away a little while ago, tonight, january 23. they called me at 6pm to tell me.

  he had been failing rapidly for the past month, and had completely lost his hearing and was totally blind.

  the dementia was extreme too, and he still knew me on thursday, but didn't wake up to know me in the following days.

  after nearly two years i got fed up with my avatar and decided to change it, i noticed many people change theirs quite frequently.

  because doctor evil (mike myers, who surprisingly also plays austin powers and fat scotman in the same films) really made me laugh i decided to put him as the new avatar.

  i think myers is canadian.
