Trashing the Watchtower? Well actually the books 'Crisis of Conscience' and 'In Search Of Christian Freedom' did that pretty well, I mean how much value did we see in the Watchtower after reading these books compared to before, instead of seeing the Watchtower as important information from God we just see it as the speculations and manipulations of men taking themselves too seriously,in other words,TRASH.
One thing about it though is the way in which the information is conveyed in the first place,in other words,'It aint what you do its the way that you do it'.I mean from the very introduction of Ray Franz books he seems to know the importance of conveying the info in a way that a JW mindset is least likley to just switch off, which is so important if you want to get the message through to deeply indocrinated messed up individuals, prehaps he would be more willing to give permission for his material to be used on sites that used the same gentle approach throughout,I mean that there is absolutely nothing wrong ind its completely comendable for an internet site that makes facts about the Watchtower available, but most of the peaple who linger would either be ex JWs or people on the way out anyway or people who have never been JWs or mayby in the very early stages of contact, which is good because after visiting these sites they probrably never will be so you have hit the JW recruitment,on the other hand those who are nervouse JWs who for one reason or other have taken the big step to start cheching the other side out could imediately,be scared right off if the info isnt presented in the gentler approach of the likes of Ray Franz, who did not right his books in the way he did by accident,he knew the mindsets he was dealing with for sure.
